Terrible experience. Like many of the other negative reviews for this store - kindness goes a long way, perhaps look into training your shop owner. My boyfriend and I went in to look for an engagement ring. The owner spoke to us and was so dismissive. He didnāt like the ring style I wanted because they do more ātraditional ringsā, heavily implied that the Ā£3000 mount would be out of budget (we hadnāt discussed budgets at all) and told us itās not worth it for us. We didnāt even get to sit down as he spoke to us for about 5 minutes and dismissed us.
We then went to Prestonās afterwards and had the most incredible experience and ended up going with a traditional ring at Ā£21,000. They gave similar advice to cry for the moon (that an intricate ring wouldnāt be durable), but did it with kindness and grace, so we were happy to change the style and choose a traditional ring. They treated us like human beings and I noticed that no matter who walked into that store, everyone was provided excellent customer service. Shopping for an engagement ring is supposed to be a special experience, not one where you get dismissed inside of a store the size of a shoebox by an owner who thinks everyone should have...

I also wanted to sell a couple of rings and on my first visit Stephen gave me a quote for both of them. On my second visit (10 days later and after communication through email), Stephen did not remember meeting me or the quote he initally proposed to buy my rings and then proceeded to offer me a lower price for both rings. I didn't buy or sell anything as Stephen was quite rude and condescending to me. He lacks any customer service or communication skills, i left with a bad feeling about our interaction.
People do business with people they like, a good rapport and strong customer relationships develop which will then led to more business through more sales, word of mouth and recommendations. I know it's easy to forget a face or to change your mind on how much you wanted to buy my rings for (that is fine), but don't gaslight your customers, you could of easily checked the emails that had been exchanged or spoken to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm writing this review on behalf of my mum who sadly lost her partner in the tail end of last year she brought her engagement ring in to see if it could be repaired unfortunately she had to have a operation and her ring had to be cut off and sadly the diamond got damaged in the process this totally broke her heart and everyone we had spoken to prior had told us it needed to be melted down and remaid at the cost of 1000s cry for the moon where not sure and thought this would also be the case but having hurd my mums story behind the ring with out telling us went ahead and repaired the ring and resized it to a amazing standard its not often when you got to a jewelry shop are you reduced to tears but tears of joy from my mum enough for me to say thank you and what a fantastic thing to do for someone who's had a hard time in the last couple of years that kind gesture can help give a spring in someone's step once more so thank you guys for your amazing work and the cost was just a mere fraction of what was...
