LS-TEN — Local services in Leeds

Every time these guys 'update' the park they gut the best features and leave the worst parts. Way too overpriced compared to other indoor parks, plus the maintenance on the place is terrible, leaks all over the place so have fun skating already slippy wood ramps when they're soaking wet.

Update: so they still have a leaky roof so enjoy those puddles. Don't think they bother sweeping anymore cos the whole place is filled with grit. They ruined the small street section with some dumb little jump boxes, this entire park is just jumping boxes with crap transitions. They clearly know their target audience is now 9yr old unsupervised scooter kids that just want to go up and down so they've gutted the soul out this park. Bring back a decent spine/box, make a decent street section and sort...

New bowl is pretty bad. box room is good but very poor use of space. Skateboards don’t have to wear helmets yet everyone else does which is ridiculous. It should be a choice over the age of 18. Main room is ancient and in desperate need of an update (I understand money is a massive issue but the bowl was a complete waste and the money could have been better used elsewhere)

Unfortunately the only indoor Leeds has to offer, locals are all sound and so are the staff in all fairness. Realistically the council need to pull their finger out and fund as Leeds is a massive city and the place has potential to be packed every single night.

Hopefully one day Leeds will get a new indoor park or lsten will sort out funding and give the park a well...

My 7 year old absolutely loves it here and calls it his "happy place". He has really thrived under the encouragement and support from all the staff and instructors, who are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The skatecamps in the holidays are a godsend, and when I pick up my son at the end of the day he is sweaty, tired and beaming with pride and new confidence in what he has learned to do. I do wish this place was given more funding, and the landlord really needs to fix that roof. But the guys that run this place day to day do so well with what they have. You can see they are passionate about it, and they're all fantastic with kids. Can't comment about the place as a user, but as a parent to a young rider I think...
