Deliverance Escape Rooms — Local services in Lincoln

We've done a few escape rooms now and I've got to say, all of us thought this was the best so far. We did the Cabin in the Woods. The set was incredible, there were so many bits we weren't expecting but excited when they did, we went for the 'brave' option which made the room even more fun. Along with the set looking brilliant, the different tasks were brilliant, there was such a great diverse array of things that needed to be done which made it even better, also there was enough pieces to look at and explore so all 4 of us was doing something the whole time, rather than one or two people trying to crack one thing at a time with the others waiting around. The games master (forgot his name but a guy) was super friendly and easy to have a laugh with. When explaining our storyline in the Cabin his torch kept going off which was an accident but added to the mystery none the less! Will definitely be returning to give all the other rooms a go, if this one is anything to go by I'm sure they're going...

For a bunch of four of us (two complete novices in our 60's, and two in their 20's who had seen a couple of escape rooms before), we all enjoyed this thoroughly. We each had our "shining moments" of achievement and discovery, there were plenty of puzzles, a little spookiness and we only just got finished in time! The team who managed us were friendly and engaged well, we felt they were keeping a helpful eye on us as we wrestled with the tasks and puzzles. Very good attention to detail and a fun way to spend the afternoon. We chose the Cabin in the Woods with the least difficulty and maximum scariness (all harmless fun for us toughies!). Bank heist. Did it with two of us, JUST made it out (with a healthy dose of loot!). Very well designed, we did it on the normal difficulty. Always worried as many escape rooms don't work well with two, but we had a blast and were able to get out with seconds to spare, the pacing was very good and there wasn't any frustration which was great, it was always figuring out how to apply what we had to what we needed to do, rather than being stuck not knowing what to do next. We didn't need many clues, just one or two, but they were well-timed and gave good advice. The staff were very friendly and full of energy. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to coming back again in the future to try one of the others. Some VERY creative...
