Mowgli Indian Takeaway — Local services in Lincoln

This evening me and my better half chosen a quick easy meal and going to mowgli’s was our first mistake. After getting home and plating up our food and trying what we presumed to be a good quality Indian my lamb madras had zero flavour, the meat dry and over cooked had to be the high of the meal. The curry itself drowned in oil and lacking in flavour held nothing but an explosion of spice within the first mouthful. Not one to be beaten by spice I endeavoured to a few more spoons but to no surprise still no flavour but overwhelming slice.

Definitely somewhere we shall not be going to again, honestly would highly recommend going to your local Chinese at least you know the meat was walking around the living room...

I haven't ordered from mowgli for some years as I didn't really like it at the time, thought I would as they had a good rating on deliveroo.. well they have upped their game!... Very lovely food, chicken chat starter the best I have ever had! Crisp poppadoms fried in fresh oil (you can tell when they are not!).. Lamb rezala, my go too.. a creamy main with a good hit of spice, lamb melts in the mouth, beautiful! Everything was spot on from starter to main! Absolutely well done you are my go to Indian fix now!.. Absolutely wonderful enjoyed ever...

Whilst the delivery was rather quick, the food itself was presented in an unsavoury manner. There was no rice included, which was unexpected due to my ordering of a £13 curry dish. The meat was all on the bone, and there was seemingly more bone than chicken. The sauce was relatively nice, if not a bit bland, and the descriptions were vague at best, with some dishes lacking one altogether. This was ordered through deliveroo, which may explain some of these issues, however I do not see myself returning to this particular reataurant...
