This is an amazing traditional old school butcher's shop! Fabulous. I recently started a carnivore diet in July and decided to start frequenting this establishment after merely passing it's amazing window display many a time. So glad I DID start buying lovely fresh meat here! A warm friendly welcome is guaranteed when you walk in. The staff are always smiling and kidding around in a nice comfortable way. You feel right at home there as a customer. And the folks are so helpful too! I regularly get skin on chicken thighs and ask for them to be de-boned. Staff are always helpful and glad to do this for me. Had a great little chat today with the nice lady who served me all about the benefits of healthier eating habits. She really knew her stuff! This is my favourite shop at the moment and will happily shop here at least twice a week now that my carnivore diet is really kicking in and helping me lose the few stone I need to. This shop has been on Allerton Road for years, they have experienced butchers in the back of the shop who personally butcher( portion up and cut) the meat, they are very knowledgeable about different cuts and how best to cook and store their produce and they also offer to do customised cuts for people who only need small amounts or looking for a cheaper option of cut. Got to be the best butchers in Liverpool. Everything is so fresh and amazing quality too. If you ever want to go to a real family butchers then visit here at all costs. Cooked meats too and even stir fry which are amazing too. Once they have the sandwiches back on too they are amazing hot baguettes and sausage rolls.
