M&S Foodhall — Local services in Liverpool

It’s Christmas Eve and just been in M&S Edge Lane Liverpool. The shelves weren’t stacked the way I expected and I was served by a young man about 28 years old who would t speak except for complaining he has to work 10 hours. When I said Merry Christmas when I was leaving he didn’t say anything. I repeated Merry Christmas and he shouted at me Happy Hanukkah to which I replied I was Christian hence the merry Christmas. I understand Jews celebrate their festival right now but this young man shouldn’t work if he doesn’t want to if he just wants to be rude to customers. I expect lots of complaints...

Hi I was in your shop today on edge lane when entering the shop a young girl with blonde hair and a yellow hi-viz coat on looked at me in the most vile manor if looks could kill. Then proceeded to do this while I was walking round the shop. Also when paying at the self serve I noticed her doing this to other customers. Everything else within the shop was perfect but this lady’s customer service was appalling. Made me feeling very unwelcome an will not be returning to the...

When paying M&S prices, there should at least be a couple of staffed tills to pay. Not a single till on all self serve tills full 1 lady run ragged. If you have fruit or veg you need to leave your shopping walk back to the edge of queue weigh your own items and print a barcode, barcode your lose items. I will no longer shop here our Christmas shop will be purchased elsewhere no staff to be found. There were at least 9 of us in a queue to use...
