KFC Liverpool - Edge Lane — Restaurant in Liverpool

As others have said, no service. Expect to serve yourself. Staff at the tills are too used to ignoring customers because of the self serve screens. No option to be served by a human. Messy tables and dirty self serve screens touched by hundreds of people after they've been the toilet without washing their hands just before you eat.

Drive through was closed so we went in.

Screens were filthy, I asked for a wipe to clean it myself, was told I wasn't allowed one and to wash my hands afterwards instead.

Eventually got the food, went to a table, which needed cleaning. I asked for someone to clean the table and got a whole bunch of attitude about nothing being good enough for me. I thought hygiene and cleaning tables was a basic bare minimum 🤷🏻

It's fine if you like overpriced food, serving yourself, and cleaning the restaurant yourself and having no customer service. But don't expect anything more than the bare minimum.

I'll say, the Manger dealt with us well in the end, nice and calm and just gave us a refund, but I can't say the same for the argumentative staff.

Use the drive through if you can, much more hygienic.

I wish I'd have been able to speak to KFC about this, but they've also disabled their complaints email address and the only option is to chat to them over social media. They're not interested...

1st visit since reopening. Food was avarage. Sauce splattered all over the dirty fries boxes and almost all the food was piled up on one tray. I say almost because there were items missing that we had to go back to the counter to get it. When I ordered I took a table tent and entered the number in to our order and clicked for table service (which I thought was a brilliant new idea). We waited at the table for a few minutes, expecting our food to be brought over but when it was ready, a member of staff just started screaming our table number across an empty restaurant. There were 2 other customers in there who were both arguing with staff and the manager (top note) about wrong orders and bad service. There were no forks to eat the loaded fries with, the place was a tip, the krushem was about a thimble full and 3 different drinks were ordered but all arrived as diet coke. This branch is a disgrace and we will definitely not be visiting again. No wonder it was empty. If you must have KFC, go to knotty ash instead. Avoid edge lane one like the plague. Cost us £50 for this...

Newly refurbished so was a nice store. Just a pity the service wasn’t. Ordered on the screen and went and waited an waited an waited. Eventually we got our meal but when we sat down we had items missing. Went to the counter to wait yet again to be told there was no rice boxes (which we paid for) no charger sauce (which is why we order the charger meal) there was no milk for my tea (so couldn’t drink it) and it was only half a cup full anyway. Our ice cream was served with our meal so by the time we ate our hot stuff the ice creams had melted quite a bit to which we then had to try and eat with a spork as no spoons was available. We wasn’t offered any alternatives or a partial refund on the missing items. Staff just stared at me an shrugged about the missing stuff. Staff member took my receipt an binned an said she couldn’t retrieve it back out the bin. So lost out on my points. Shop wasn’t that busy inside, I’ve seen busier shop. Very disappointed ☹️ don’t think I’ll be using or recommending this...
