Subway — Restaurant in Liverpool

Okay, here's a more formal review of my recent experiences at this establishment:

My repeated visits to this sizable venue have consistently revealed a concerning operational pattern that significantly detracts from the overall customer experience. Despite the apparent capacity for extensive dining service, a considerable portion of the available seating areas remains consistently closed off to patrons. This limitation in accessible space creates an unnecessarily constrained environment. Furthermore, the persistent issue of locked restroom facilities presents a notable inconvenience. Requiring managerial intervention for access to essential amenities is not only disruptive but also suggests a lack of adequate attention to basic customer needs and accessibility. These recurring operational shortcomings raise questions regarding the efficient management and optimal utilization of the premises. Food is thrown together with no care or consideration. They asked if I wanted it with cheese, I said yes. They throw cheese onto the left half of my sandwich with the right side just having tuna. Then when I ask them for cheese on the other half of my sandwich I’m told I’ll be charged extra because it’s only two slices. Ordinarily I’d have asked them to make it again, properly, but I didn’t have time because of the queue that built up while one member of staff was wiping the inside of an empty bread fridge.

Not one clean table and floor was littered. The toilet was filthy & only the disabled one was in use as the upstairs toilet was closed off, even though a customer asked to use it and was refused. The Sub was lovely as always but would not visit this particular shop again. There were 4 members of staff and although a steady footfall through the door were not run off their feet & not one could find the time to clear and wipe tables etc. I am ashamed of people coming into Edge Lane Subway from outside of the City as they probably think we are all slobs as the shop suggests.
