Bumped from first class seat and AA won't assign me a seat until the gate, so not the happiest me but permitted to use the first class lounge within the American lounge ("H").
The first class lounge is reasonably spacious and comprises a full-service dining area with an à la carte menu. I had Eggs Royale (with smoked salmon) and a latte. The service is friendly and the area isn't busy at 6am. There's a breakfast buffet area and tables surrounded by seating. Then there's another raised seating area with perhaps 30-40 seats.
I'm unsure how many flights AA has in the morning but there are perhaps 50 people in here and it's quiet. The seating is comfortable, with lots of areas to charge devices and phones. I especially large windows that allow...

So now the terrible part. A person collapsed on the other side while we were eating. Warren was calm, cool, collected. The one person who stood up to gawp he walked over to graciously offer him coffee. 100% keeping his head, and working to provide dignity to everyone. He treated everyone like a person, not a fare.
And now the mandatory photo of the coffee. Taken before anyone...
