During our wait inside Heathrow after a beautiful trip to London, I stood in line with anticipation for the Nero Coffee we'd discovered on our trip. The wait - however good the coffee - was far too long for the length of the line. Once up to the counter, the staff members were incredibly rude - I and the other customers seemed to annoy them, and their job of providing a little sustenance and caffeine to weary travelers was lost on them.
We love Nero Coffee, and the coffee from this location was very good, however, I had to ask that the muffin I ordered be obtained from a different section of the counter, far away from where one of the staff had coughed repeatedly over the muffins she was adding to the display shelves. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Café Nero at Heathrow Terminal 2, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. I started my morning with a rich cup of hot chocolate, which was the perfect way to kick off my day of travel.
What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service I received from Ted at the counter. He was not only friendly but also genuinely attentive, making sure my order was just right. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work, and it reflects positively on the entire café.
The location is convenient, situated right opposite the Turkish Airlines check-in, making it an ideal spot for travelers looking to relax before their flights. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by Café Nero if you find yourself at Heathrow. Thank you, Ted, for your outstanding service—it's people like you who make a difference! Great...
Read moreSo pathetic and sneaky. We ordered an Americano the woman behind the counter said something about whether we wanted strong or medium. And went away to make the cup. We saw the price was 30p higher than the advertised one. She said it was because of the special so called Colombian single source coffee, that no one asked for. At an international airport, getting some Indian girl to quickly rolled the premium price off her tongue with no care to get the customers’ agreement in these very noisy and hectic surroundings was just so pathetically deliberate and sneaky. The profiteering was a sorry scene to witness . Just to trick a customer of 40p more. We decided to write this review as a reminder to ourselves to avoid cafe...
