We got married at Beckenham Place Mansion in September this year. We held both our ceremony and reception (approx 100 guests) there. It was wonderful and I could not recommend the venue or the staff more highly. I think the venue itself is really beautiful - it did not take very much to convert it into a magical location for a wedding and I loved how much scope there was to personalise it. All the recommended suppliers were fab, and the Events Team (particularly Emel and Andy) were phenomenally organised and a joy to plan the day with. They are really experienced, fielded gazillions of requests, gave us heaps of advice and tips and genuinely cared about our day going well. On the run up to the wedding and the day itself, Andy and his team did a huge amount to make sure everything went off smoothly (above and beyond what we'd expected). I'm so glad...

What a beautiful location I did take public transport here which was two different buses from where I live in South East London but it wasn't too difficult to get to and I saw a lot of people driving here as there are placed to park. It's a beautiful location on a nice Sunny bank holiday. It is well worth coming here as I came on a vintage fair event and it's lovely the outside stalls had plenty of furniture and interior design. I side the mansion they had clothing which is more aimed at women but stunning dresses to kitchen cups and plates. The prints are my favourite I picked up a few as they are so fabulous. They had food trucks with rather long lines so they must be popular. The grounds are beautifully designed and a must for families and friends to go to. I highly recommend visiting here. Also very...

Beckenham Place Mansion was an absolute dream of a wedding venue. It looked utterly stunning on the day, and all our guests were blown away by it. It is the perfect venue with distinct rooms for ceremony, food, and dancing - as well as gorgeous outdoor space if you are lucky with the weather, as we were! The events team - Emel, Ione and Andy - were incredible. In the buildup to the wedding they were so helpful, answering absolutely every question we asked, providing additional information, and liaising with our suppliers. We were a bit worried that have a dry hire venue would mean tons of work for us, but the team ensured that all the planning went so smoothly. On the day itself they were amazing, supporting with logistics seamlessly, and being a lovely friendly presence. Thank...

We visited Beckenham Place Park to check out their Winter Wonderland 🎄and have a mulled wine 🍷 of course at The Homestead Cafe. The mansion had lots of stalls and the wonderland was lovely it had lots to do for children and an indoor bar area too (with pool table and games) not shown x A lovely day was had by all 🥰 #inspired #winterwonderland #park #daysout #familydaysout

The parking ruined our visit. You have to have a phone app to pay for parking, and bizarrely, the amount you pay for your parking is based on the emissions from your car. If you don't have a phone then text!?! to find a shop miles away to pay for parking... I thought this weird seeing as emissions were being used to travel to and from the shop... The little shops and cafe were nice, although having to pay £3 for an hour's parking for my little Clio seemed a massive surcharge to my cup of tea! Edit on August 8 2023 - I have increased my rating to 3 stars as the Mansion is not in control of the parking. However, it is so integral to visiting the mansion that I believe it still is a valid comment.

Visited here August Bank Holiday Monday whilst they were hosting a series of vintage and bric a brac stalls. The gardens and stables have been restored plus there seems to be a new outdoor swimming and kayak area although this didn't look finished. The gardens have been v well done around the stable yard and the exteriors of the buildings renovated too. There is a new cafe in this area offering both indoor and outdoor seating, the latter with views over the gardens. The main old house is still run down but it adds to the charm. A nice place to walk the dog and grab a coffee in relaxing surroundings. They've done a good job.
