COS — Local services in London

Bad customer service, unhelpful and rude staff at Kensington High Street branch. I had initially visited the Cos store in Covent Garden to purchase an item but they didn’t have my size in stock. The store suggested I go to Kensington High St store as it was showing 1 in my size in stock on the system. Before heading over to the Kensington Store I called them to double check if they had the jumper in stock. I spoke with Natalia who said that there was just 1 left. I asked if she would hold for me it for me until I arrived within the hour. Natalia refuse to hold it and said that she cannot remove it from the rail and stop other customers from purchasing it. She said I would just have to just hope it’s still there when I arrived! I said that I have held items before that I have wanted to purchase at Cos, to which she replied, not here ( which is true as I’ve never shopped at this store) I am so surprised and disappointed as this is not what I’ve come to experience from this brand or the staff. Regent Street and Covent Garden staff go above and beyond with customer service. It was 8 minutes till 20:00 and as we just jumped in quickly into a store to check mens shoes we were told by a lady working there with long curly hair and glasses (I guess spanish from the accent) that they’re closing in 5 mins and she wouldn’t help us without even saying Hello in the first place. I replied her politely that it is 8 mins till 20:00 and not 5 min. Then she corrected herself and still wasn’t ready to help us. It was absolutely rude when we just wanted to grab a pair of shoes without even trying it on because we have tried them before in another shop already . Our wardrobe is 99% cos and we have never experienced this rude and unacceptable customer service before in any other store. She is definitely a very bad reflection of this store especially this premium location. I really Hope she won’t stay here long as we are planning to move in to...
