My fave night ever, has been for a few years and keeps getting better the more I go (which is now every event!). Never experienced a club night with live bands before let alone SUCH strong ones, there's a ton of variety both in rooms (a main room with emo/pop punk/metalcore, a metal room, a karaoke room & the glass bar with sofas to chill in) and in what's on - competitions, giveaways, merch stalls, guest DJ sets, dancers & various performances and, of course, bands. Been lucky enough to befriend the people that run the night and they really put their all into every event and also into making sure everyone feels welcome and included. And for my fellow neurospicies: sensory-processing-issues friendly! They have a designated safe space and a lot of calmer spaces around the venue, along with a really wholesome bunch of people there who get it. Couldn't...

Took nearly AN HOUR in the queue to get in because they only had one guy scanning ID's whilst 6 of them stood around inside the entrance. Heard people in the queue debating leaving as it was taking so long. For some reason they split the queue into male and female (why?) so if you're with any girls they'll be inside half an hour before you... Wanted to go and use the cloakroom, no queue there but the power mad security guy by the bar wanted me to walk the queue system to get to the desk... lost out on a sale there. Please hire a new security company, these people have no respect for any of...

I’ve come here with my sister to friends new in town and even friends who just want to dance, and every single one of them has enjoyed their night here. With different rooms to match your vibe you’ll always have something to dance/sing and just have fun to. The main stage is always a great shout as the event always books the best artists (and sometimes there’s even free pizza and balloons!). One of the best things about Facedown is how you think the night is over and they turn around and have an afterparty in the same venue! This is definitely the place to come to on that first of the...
