Had an issue with a buy one get one free offer at the till. The issue was that the offer went through the till and reduced the price and then reverted to full price. The young man at the till was as confused as I was. Alexander ran the items through several times with the same result. I request assistance from a supervisor/manager. Kasper, the Deputy Store Manager, attended. Whilst I was trying to explain the issue to him, he was hostile abrasive and belligerent in his response. I can not believe I was treated in this way by a manager. When I advised him, his customer service was poor. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off in a very uncaring way. At this point, I advised that I would make a written complaint. He rudly responded, "You can do what you want." After he left, two other cashiers commented about his rudeness to customers and staff. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the behaviour of a manager at your Purley way branch . On several occasions, I have witnessed unprofessional conduct that directly impacts customer experience.
Maria / Marija plus Kiri consistently treats customers unfairly, displaying a lack of respect and courtesy. For example, during my last visit, I was being dismissed as a customer and was told that I’m a lier in relations to my inquiries that I had. Additionally, she has been observed prioritizing certain customers over others without any clear reason, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for those who are being overlooked.
Such behavior not only undermines the core values of Lidl but also affects customer loyalty and satisfaction. I believe that all customers deserve to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of the circumstances.
I hope you will address this issue promptly, as I value my shopping experience at Lidl and would like to see improvements in customer service.

Read more21st April 2023 1.34pm Accident I left the self checkout when I slipped and had a heavy fall on my back. An assistant asked if I was ok. After a few minutes I got myself up and asked for a member of management to help me. Ten minutes later a manager arrived and said Yep three times how rude. I asked that she should put in Accident book. Her reply was I don't know what to do this had never happened to me before. I asked for a senior manager to attend. A member of the public shouting at me and asked for me to move away from the tills. How rude I said you should tell the staff that. The deputy manager arrived and asked for my details took photographs 30 minutes afterthought incident...I said that's no good loads of people have passed through since. He said the floor looked OK.
