M&S Foodhall — Local services in London

Generally a good store. It does sometimes have a few stock issues on the gourmet range and also stopped doing a couple of fav's but overall, its great for our needs for the size store. Especially warm fresh bread if i can get out of bed early enough! However, went there today (Friday 20th March) and it had been stripped bare! Hope there is a supply truck on its way to replenish. Only wanted a loaf of bread and some tomatoes from my mum. Will carry launch a dawn raid in tomorrow and hope for success :)

Other points. A couple of the self service tills were out of action for longer than i would expect (around 4 weeks, not months as stated elsewhere) and there isn't always someone on hand to staff an actual till if required. I would question if the cafe is required given that there are many excellent independents near the store and the space could be utilised better for more...

Nice Design and layout.

Nice place to shop and i like going. Well stocked and great price christmas turkey's!

Food qulity is better than standard supermarkets. Taste is also better.

Fairly well stocked.

Parking can be difficult as there isn't any so you have to find spots on high road which is usually full or on side road which is also usually full.

They should really find a way to creat parking right next to the building especially for disabled people!

Oh yea, i've read the secuirty guard follows people lol. Never had it happened to me as i look at them as if to say i'm just here to shop! and they get the message!

New M&S Food Hall opened today, 142 Streatham Hill. Great New store, just a minute walk or less from Streatham Hill train Station. It has a Click and Collect counter for the collection of goods ordered from their website. It sells all the things you expect it to sell such as bread, rolls pastries at the back of the store. It has a section for Gluten Free products, as well as everything else you would expect to see in an M&S Food Hall. It also has self service checkouts which is a plus.
