IF YOU WANT TO DO A LEVELS, DO NOT BY ANY MEANS ATTEND THIS COLLEGE. They never know if the teachers are going to be in or not, so if your teacher is sick they wont be able to tell you when they are coming back(which some times meant weeks). This also means that unless you get responsible teachers who prepare work prior your entire lesson is gone. I barely got any HW, and they never check up on teachers to make sure thy are giving it out. To make matters worse, if you have a bad teacher like my former computing teacher, they will not replace them until your exam season, and if your teachers are too ill to return like my physics teacher, they will also not replace them until the exam season. All in all pretty terrible college for a levels and i would only recommend you come here if you are either a really good independent learner or its like your last chance at doing a levels, but tbh even then i would recommend you move on to a...
Read moreAbsolutely awful. Went to an open day there a few days ago and useless isn't even the word. Nobody had a clue where any of the staff to talk to were, we were left wandering around until one of the teachers noticed us and helped us out. The access person, although answering our questions gave us the feeling he wanted to end the conversation after every question. The principal advice was to go to learn direct to get a maths course in order to pass the maths assessment before the course starts. This is a college? Can't indo maths there?
When we eventually found someone to talk to about taking GCSE retakes. Guy was actually pretty rude. Said they don't really do that sort of thing and I was there too early to be talking about enrolling in September.
10 minutes of conversations and 40 minutes of wandering around.
Seriously, avoid this place. If they're so bad during an open day then what are they...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible. I've only been there for about 6 months and its absolutely disgusting. When people told me that in college no one cares about you I didn't believe them, but now i see what they mean and that they were right. Would give it a 0 if I could. Teachers don't even give you support you need. Absolutely nobody cares about you or your mental health (considering everything happening tight now). Would not recommend. A-levels are much harder (as most people probably know), but they are much more worth than what you get from this college. The support and all the help you will be getting is much more worth than what this college give you. Don't waste your time going there. Also canteen food is really expensive.#
literally 2 words to describe it: RACIST and NEGATIVITY from the head of Biology (teaches Applied science and health and social care) and carerr...
