I cannot tell you how much my dog, Max loved this place. I try to alternate between Nonsuch park and Morden park so that he gets to meet a variety of dogs and their owners. And he totally approves this park. Absolutely loves sniffing around, picking sticks, playing drop it for a treat and then picking it up again for another treat.

It is pretty big and has some walking trails too. Although I haven't had the time to explore them myself, but I used to commute to work in my road bike through this park. However, due to the wet weather, the terrain isn't safe for a road bike. I have had a few close calls, skidding losing grip but nothing too serious. If you have a mountain bike or anything with broader wheels, you will be safe and will enjoy your ride through the park. The hill climb is pretty hard but totally worth. I avoid the park during my commute these days to avoid falling in the wet mud. I once got chased by a dog, although all it wanted was a little petting. Sunsets are beautiful here. I guess sunrise too, just haven't been able to see sunrise here yet. If you have a dog and love walking with your furry friend in a dog friendly environment, this is a really good place. As with any large park, you could lost here, so keep...

Love this place though parts can get a bit flooded at times so if it's been very wet or it winter time a pair of wellies maybe needed it has lots of little sections that are get for picnic and for letting your dog run around if it's there not uses to being off the lead or practicing return on long lead you can control them a bit more it has a great park part for the kids to play and a great outdoor gym for bigger kids to workout and it's right next to the morden swimming pool, in the summer time it has a pitch and putt golf course and other events going on.(see merton.gov.uk) there is parking around the park and great for walkers who like to investigate and maybe get a bit lost and away from it for a while, it has very good to reasonable paths too if like me and on a mobility scooter(though again when wet/winter time the reasonable paths may become very muddy and boggy so don't get stuck) on the Lower Morden side is a great garden centre which is great if you get a bit hungry and dogs are welcome too!(must be on...

A lovely park full of beautiful scenery. History dates back to the 1800s. I live a couple minuets walk from here and have been coming since my childhood, gives me such nostalgia whenever i visit. It’s a decent sized park and has hidden treasures. The rose garden is stunning, and the board walks through the wetlands are nice to walk through, and can be used to get to Merton Abbey Mills. 5 main entrances/exits to the park located all around. Deen City Farm is practically in the park, and is helpful for family’s. The park is free of cost and is a jewel in my eyes. A garden centre and cafe can be found by the main gates on Central Road. A kids wooden play park is near the white bridge, but its shame because there always seems to be stuff missing from it, and it easily gets flooded during the winter which means its...

Pretty park incorporating River Wandle with several bridges crossing river. Various established trees provide not only natural beauty but shade on hot days, whilst shrubs, ferns, reeds & wild flowers in their abundance provide home to wildlife & much interest for walkers, be it young/ elderly/ families with pushchairs /wheelchairs /cyclists etc. Nature reserve areas such as wetlands with boarded path above & small pond with observation area allows perfect viewing to spot many different wildlife species. Throughout park, established foot paths make access easy to other areas of park, stretching across several towns for which sign posts indicate directions /distance. Many large open grassed areas provide ample choice for picnics. (Please take your litter home or bin it).
