Really disappointed. I travelled today to the store to buy sweets for Diwali and was looking forward to gifting for my mother. I spoke to the lady and told her that I had seen the Diwali sweet box for £7.50. I asked and showed her a photo of the box (12 different pieces). She originally filled it with 8 and I queried this. She then asked a man who told her the Diwali boxes were already ready and to pick one from the side. She showed me one and I agreed. I separately asked for 2 small pieces of Jalebi and 4 pieces of barfi: this was around £3-£4. When I was paying she charged me £13.96, I was surprised and queried this as if the Diwali box was £7.50 how can two pieces of jalebi and 4 barfi come to £6.46. She told me actually because the Diwali box is £10 in store and is cheaper online. The man looked at me and explained it’s cheaper online and more expensive in store. I looked at them clear as day, they knew it too. I knew immediately that they were scamming me especially as the man said “cheaper online because of packaging” which makes no sense in the world because you’d have to use more packaging. I then immediately felt sorry for them to lie over such an amount especially as it’s Diwali but didn’t want to embarrass them or create an issue (grand scheme of things it’s a few pounds and not worth it). I paid and left wishing them well Diwali. Realised on the way home that they did not pack the 4 pieces of the barfi which I’m so annoyed about as I paid for this! I would not return ever. It just seems like odd behaviour the whole experience. If you’re considering here or Southall. Go To Southall! Chandni Chowk is good. Otherwise I think this is only a cute shop for 1 or 2 pieces to eat immediately or if you want I to try.

While this place has the best Indian sweets around, I'd advice you to be wary of them. The last time I went there I got 2-3 of a couple of different sweets, probably 7-8 different types. The woman weighed them, told me the price and went towards the other side to tape up the box. When I got back home, 2-3 varieties of sweets only had 1 of each and I realised she might have slipped them out when she went to the other side of the shop. I know cause I only asked for 2-3 of each and she slipped out my favorite ones, so I could tell. Since I only had about 20 sweets, it was easy for me to tell, but for someone who might buy 5-6 kgs, they would have no idea if some are missing. I honestly didn't expect this from such a big shop that's so prestigious, but I also linked another incident when I went with my uncle, and upon returning we found less sweets than we bought, to which he just imagined that he purchased less. So if you don't care too much, this shop sells great sweets, but if you don't want any missing, I suggest you watch them carefully!

Pooja tooting broadway sweets 1/2 kilo £4.50 for mixed ladoos, 1/2 kilo £4.70 for yellow chum chum (Indian sweets). Total price £9.20 Paid by card. This is the best Indian sweets you will ever find at a good value price in Tooting. Everything is halal. The customer service is just great, the customer attendant helped me choose indian sweets to choose as gifts as I Have no idea. Just truly wonderful and super polite with a smile helpful customer service. Keep in mind there is at least 20 customers in the shop at 6pm. They are open from 9am-9pm The place was packed and they had at least 5 staff on hand to help you with anything. Such a polite guy and helped me so smoothly choose which Indian sweets is great within a budget and as a small gift. Always go here for the best Indian sweets. Definitely kept me as a longtime customers.

Nestled in the heart of Tooting, this Indian vegetarian snack shop offers a delightful array of traditional treats that will tantalize your taste buds. From the classic vegetarian samosas to the mouthwatering somosa chats and crispy pakoras, there's something for everyone craving authentic Indian flavors.Among their impressive selection, the paneer roll stands out as the star of the show, with its savory filling and perfectly crispy exterior. Additionally, the shop boasts a variety of Indian sweets, refreshing ice cream, and creamy Lassi, although the mango Lassi fell short of expectations compared to other local options.Perfect for those seeking quick and budget-friendly snacks, this establishment provides a convenient stop for satisfying your cravings. However, it's worth noting that the bustling nature of the shop can lead to occasional challenges. The staff, overwhelmed by the constant stream of customers, may come across as a bit moody or rushed at times. Furthermore, the shop's small size often results in crowded queues, with some customers attempting to jump ahead.Despite these minor drawbacks, the quality and variety of snacks available earn this establishment a solid 4 out of 5 rating. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite on the go or indulging in a sweet treat, this Indian vegetarian snack shop is sure to leave a lasting impression on...

This business is an institution when it comes to lack of customer service and ethics in equal measure. Frankly, it does not even deserve this one star review. Had placed an order for delivery well before noon time on Wednesday with an aim to specifically avoid the Easter melee. As per the assurances (retrospectively realized they were as worthless as the business itself) on their website and recorded messages this order should have been delivered the next day. Upon subsequently calling them a few times on Thursday when the order did not arrive I was further assured I would be upgraded to Saturday delivery given the perishable nature of items. However, at the time of posting this review on Saturday not only am I still left empty handed but have also been haughtily told off by one Mr. Imran Salim that I will need to wait a further 3-5 working days for my refund. Apparently he needs to figure out the exact reason for their failure before processing the refund. Ridiculous, here I was expecting some delicious treats but had to make do with some distasteful lies in my...
