Our family stay in this London flat was a somewhat frustrating and disappointing experience, mainly due to the woeful lack of maintenance we found in the place. From the moment we walked in, we could tell that something was not right. The ripped doors between the living and kitchen areas, as well as the access to the bedrooms, created a sense of discomfort and lack of privacy that we did not expect. The inability to access the terrace due to the door being damaged and the latch taped shut.
The lack of attention to detail was evident in every corner. The torn toilet paper holder and the detail of a shower handle held in place by wires were clear indicators that the owner had not bothered to maintain the flat in a proper condition. The condition of the floor was deplorable, with badly damaged wood and a hole covered with duct tape, and the sofa bed in a somewhat poor condition.
In addition, the lack of sound insulation was a significant problem. The "paper" walls allowed any noise from the adjoining neighbours to filter into our space, constantly disturbing our peace and privacy.
I would not recommend this place to any traveller, although it is well connected to the metro stop.
