Steakout has always been one of our favourite restaurants which we usually visit on many occasions including: birthdays and family gatherings as the food and service is always excellent.
However, on this particular visitation which was a Thursday evening both the standard of food and service was absolutely disappointing as we made a request to the restaurant to prepare our order in a suitable time period as we were quite hungry.
As we waited for our food for a good 5-10 minutes we were served steaks that were warm and not hot as it normally should be. We asked the waitress politely to send our dishes back to the kitchen.
We were then rudely questioned by the manager who argued the order was prepared in advance as per our request. This was not true as we informed the restaurant to prepare our order 5-10 minutes before we arrived for our 8:30 reservation which meant the steaks were not cooked properly.
After the excruciating altercation with the argumentative manager we finally received our food which was cooked correctly.
After finishing our meal, the manager did not have the basic courtesy to bid us farewell and apologise for the mistake made.
Its highly evident that the recent poor management of the tooting steakout branch has resulted in the standards slowing going down which is a shame as Steakout has always been known for its excellent food and service.
After this disappointing experience I dont think I will be going back to Steakout again unless this type of negative...
Read moreI’ve been a regular at Steakout for years, enjoying what was once a reliable spot for a hearty meal. Sadly, my most recent visit left me disappointed and questioning if it’s worth returning.
I ordered the sirloin steak, a dish I used to love, but this time it fell flat in both presentation and taste. The steak was lackluster, lacking the juicy tenderness I had come to expect. The entire meal felt rushed, with no attention to detail, and it was a stark contrast to the quality I remembered.
On the positive side, I do appreciate that the restaurant is halal, which makes it a great option for those who need that dietary consideration. It’s also somewhat child-friendly, which can make it a convenient choice for families looking for a casual meal out.
However, the atmosphere, which used to be cozy and welcoming, now feels non-existent. It’s hard to feel at ease when the vibe is so uninspiring. On top of that, the customer service was subpar. Staff seemed disinterested, and it took far too long for even basic requests to be addressed.
To top it off, the prices are now steep for what you get, which makes the overall experience feel even more disappointing. It’s sad to see a once-loved spot fall so far short of expectations.
I can’t recommend Steakout anymore, especially when there are so many other places that offer better food and service at a more...
Read moreWe have been in that restaurant lots of times before, and it was NOT bad. On my last visit, our evening was ruined by the service, especially by the waiter name Bilal. He needs to understand when they take order from the customer, they need to inform, if the main course and the starter will have to come out and the same time, as it is a stake restaurant therefore , what you eat with the steak and the combination will make a big difference on the outcome of the meal. We ordered spicy buffalo wings and another one or two starters we were not told that the starter will come with the main course , when we made inquiry about the starter why they're taking so long, we were informed that the starter and main course will be arriving together as the restaurant will be closing after 40/50 minutes. Having a restaurant over 20 years , I do understand how does the last ordering works in the kitchen and for the service people, however the waiter when he took the order he should have informed, the starter and main course will be arriving together or we should have been told about it... having hot buffalo wings and sirloin steak together at the same time have ruined my meal and the evening as well as the experience in the restaurant" management need to get this things right as the restaurant is not too...
