BEWARE OF PARKING SCAM AT QUALITY FOODS IN SOUTHALL!
On December 23, I visited Quality Foods in Southall. They offer a parking programme where you pay £2 for a 2-hour stay and get your money back after you finish your shopping. However, on December 23rd, when I inserted £2, the machine did not print out a ticket.
I attempted to get assistance from the store manager (Ashok), but he refused because he said that even though they owned the parking spaces, Horizon Parking was in charge of managing them.
I attempted to locate the parking attendant but was unsuccessful due to Ashok's complete lack of assistance and appalling customer service. One of the store employees I spoke to after wandering the parking lot reported they saw him enter the toilets. I waited for him to exit the toilets for nearly 30 minutes! before telling him what had happened.
He then led me over to the machine and explained that the circumstance I found myself in was not feasible, showing how it worked with the following client who had just paid for a ticket. As a result, I assumed I could have done something incorrectly. However, a different customer soon arrived and said that he had experienced the same problem as me, except that it happened on the second machine.
We don't have the same selection of Asian foods in our area, so I spend at least £100 at Quality foods in Southall each time I visit. Needless to say, I won't be going back to there because it is obvious that they don't value your business and you will constantly be concerned about being conned.
If you've experienced the same problem, kindly leave a remark since I'd like to know how...
Read moreI wanted to share my recent experience at Quality Food Supermarket. We decided to purchase an Indian clay cooking pot from this store, but we found it to be slightly more expensive compared to other supermarkets in the area. In hindsight, we should have explored other options before making the purchase.
Quality Food Supermarket offers a variety of home groceries, but we found that their prices were generally higher compared to other stores in the area. Additionally, when compared to supermarkets in Leicester, the prices were considerably higher. While the store does offer a range of products for the kitchen, including food, fresh vegetables, and fruits, we found them to be on the pricier side. It's worth noting that there is a Jalebi stall, panoramic, and pani puri stand located outside the shop. However, based on our personal experience, we weren't satisfied with the service and wouldn't recommend trying them.
Regarding parking, it's important to mention that there is parking available, but it's not free. However, if you present the paid ticket at the till after shopping, you may be able to get a refund.
Overall, while Quality Food Supermarket has a selection of groceries and kitchen-related items, we found the prices to be higher compared to other options in the area, as well as in Leicester.
"As a useful tip for trade, it is recommended to apply a layer of liquid fire pot clay to cover the base of the pot before using it. This provides enhanced protection and safeguards the pot...
Read moreI go this place to buy Monthly Indian groceries. I bought Paneer in grocery on 2nd September 2017 from Quality Foods, Hayes. Mostly we check the expiry dates of the grocery items but as panner expiry is usually 3-4 months, I didn't bother. We cooked the curry at home and the paneer tasted really bad when we checked the date, we were shocked to see that Paneer had expired on 19th August 2017. Reason I am reporting this issue because this is not happening first time. Earlier I was buying another food product maggi Noodles and realised that those were expired. I reported to store management but no action was taken. I always liked this store due to variety of Indian products it offers. The bhelpuri shop on the corner is awesome but I am very concerned about health and safety standard followed by this store and safety of people who often buy food from this...
