I would have loved to give more stars, but based on my experience, I’ve decided to give 3. It wasn’t horrible or terrible by any means, but I believe it could have been great with some improvements in key areas.
Ambience & Music: The decoration and setting were beautiful, but the music was far too loud especially upstairs. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk. After all, it’s meant to be a café to relax and chill, not a disco. I asked staff to turn it down. They did slightly, but it was still loud. Eventually, they turned it off, which was great. However, they suddenly turned it back on, and something went wrong with the speaker, producing a loud, strange noise that startled us. My son was even brought to tears because of how loud and abrupt it was.
Ordering Experience & Waffle: When I ordered a waffle, I wasn’t asked if I wanted a half or full portion and I wish they had. When I brought this up to the waiter, he said I should’ve read the menu and asked, which felt unprofessional. In most places, they clarify size or portion preference, even for drinks. He also mentioned he repeated the order to me, but he spoke so fast I couldn’t catch everything, which led to a misunderstanding. I ended up with a huge waffle drenched in chocolate sauce and shavings. The waffle dough itself was fresh and delicious, but the topping was too much overly sweet, almost to the point of being sickening. On top of that, the waffle was cold, possibly because it had been left aside while the rest of our order was being prepared.
Timing of the Order: The items didn’t come out all at once. With little kids, it’s hard for them to wait while others eat. As a family, we want to enjoy our desserts together. The staggered serving was disappointing.
Coffee Issues: The coffee was lukewarm rather than hot. I asked for a new one, and they said they’d make it. When it came, it tasted different, much weaker. I asked if they could add a bit more coffee, and the waitress told me they might charge me for another shot, which felt unreasonable. When I later asked the waiter who made the coffee, he said it was the exact same one, just reheated despite the waitress telling me it was freshly made. It turns out they had simply reheated the original one (possibly in a microwave?), which absolutely affects the taste. Any coffee lover would notice immediately. It’s quite unprofessional, any decent café would remake a fresh coffee instead of reheating a lukewarm one.
Final Thoughts: I left slightly disappointed. I really wanted to like this café. Some staff were genuinely friendly and tried their best, but certain team members would benefit from training in customer service and communication. It’s important not to take feedback personally but to view it as an opportunity to improve. Would I come again? Honestly, I doubt it. But I do wish the team success and hope they make the small changes that could make a big difference in customer satisfaction. Best of luck and keep up the...
Read moreI personally have been to Little Desert Shop in Southall 3 times on different occasions with different people, not only myself but my freinds, my family who always visit creams and my relatives who always had a dream of coming to this shop, we all are putting our words from deep inside our hearts that the hospitality, warm welcome, smile from the staff, the efficiency of the food and most importantly the quality and presentation of the food prepared by the experts inside the kitchen is not only amazing but outstanding.
I never has waffle in my life, I love icre cream and cakes but having waffle at Little Desert Shop has made me fallen in love with waffles. Absolutely amazing test and quality.
I am and I will highly recommend Londoner's and outsiders to give yourself a chance and visit this place and you will never think of any other Desert place.
The front shop members of staff called Mahak, Lovish and Manveer have always been smiling, welcoming and approachable members with an outstanding customer service to us and all the customers, even under pressure work and customer demands.

Read moreI’ve been here for the third time and I have had 3 bad experiences. I’m not usually one to be bothered about reviews but I feel like this is something I have to share for the better of the company itself so they can work on the way they work better.
First time I came I had a burnt cookie dough. I won’t even say anything more because that says it all.
Second time I came they messed up our order and gave someone ours. The waffle we ordered was really cold and the speakers above our seat was extremely loud we had to shout to one another. When asked to put it lower, it went down for 30 seconds and would go right back up again.
Third time I’ve come and we ordered our food over 30 minutes ago.
We got some of our order and the staff didn’t even hand it out properly. He gave it out to the 5 of us as if he knew exactly who’s was who’s? We were literally thinking what is he doing ….. we had to move heavy plates and things around ourselves.
To add we had the same mistake as last time where our food went to another table. And they didn’t even figure that out we did.
