Me and my partner came into the store because I wanted to smell Diptyque's new fragrance Orpheon. After I had smelt it I continued browsing the shop having a look around, when I noticed the supervisor of the store approach my partner and accuse him of putting something in his bag and continuously demanded he put the perfume down. All this commotion whilst she was in the middle of serving another client. To my shock I came over and asked her what the issue was and she rudely responded its none of my business and that she had already apologised. Making such a big accusation and embarrassing my partner in front of the whole shop without any valid reason, It felt like racial profiling to me. I have shopped at Space NK many times before, I have never had a problem with their service before. This was a really bad experience and it could have been handled differently. Coming up to someone and outwardly accusing them is not the way and letâs face it whatâs a man to do in in a cosmetics shop other than smell the candles and perfume. You'd think a supervisor would...
Read moreIâm extremely saddened by the service that was provided to my friend today at around 12:30pm at London Kingâs cross space NK. My friend wanted a charlotte tilbury tester and the brown haired woman proceeded to tell her âI wouldnât use that on your skin type if you have ACNE itâs just going to spread all aroundâ. She then showed her alternative foundations (even though she wanted charlotte tilbury in the first place!), then said she shouldnât have full coverage and should have medium because âyour gonna make ur skin worse, itâs just gonna sit and itâs not moveableâ. THEN started quizzing her on her skin care routine and telling her everything she uses is wrong! She also told my friend she needed a good SPF to get rid of the dark spots too!! You may think youâre trying to be helpful but if you have been in a place where you have struggled with acne you DO NOT want unsolicited advice from people that DO NOT know you or what youâve been through. ESPECIALLY since my friend simply went in for a tester. This has left her extremely upset and we will not...
Read moreIâve been using this chain of shops quite often, either for myself or when buying presents for friends and family. However, todayâs experience was truly disappointing.
I bought a cream, but after using it, I had an allergic reaction (spots that Iâm still trying to get rid of). Previously, a consultant assured me that if I had a bad experience with a cream, I could return or exchange it for another one. However, when I actually tried to do this, I encountered rude and unprofessional behavior at the till.
The staff member opened the cream and gave her colleague a look, right in front of me, which was just so rude and unnecessary! Then they started asking me things like, âHow long have you had the allergy?â and âWhy are you returning this?â It felt like they didnât believe me, and honestly, the whole thing was just awful and really uncomfortable.
If the staff member was having a bad day or if her personal life isnât going well, thatâs no excuse to take it out...
