It is what it is a small, neighbourhood shopping mall. It's a very old shopping space which has always been like the heart of Edgware's community but it could do with a revamp although I believe it is going to be taken away soon for flats to be built there😪. However it has a decent little selection of shops (Metrobank, Superdrug, New look, Specsavers, EE, Shoezone, Holland &Barrett, Next, Vision Express, The Works, Selekt, Boots, JD Sports, TK Maxx, Poundland, WHSmiths, Costa, Claire's Accessories, Blue Ink, 02, Card Factory, Key cutters/ Shoe Smith, Wenzels, Beauty Treatment Shop, Sainsbury's &Argos, An Edgware's History Information showroom). There are also a few: bag, phone, perfume, lighting and cake stalls, spread throughout the mall too. There are toilets and baby changing facilities but I must say the cleanliness and hygiene levels of that area are very poor, probably cause the cleaners hang out in the corridor on their phones most the time rather than cleaning the facilities. (Well that's all I ever see them do & I'm there often.) Nice large car park with free parking upto 90mins, (but beware the parking attendants are jobs worths and will ticket you if your tyre is on the parking bay line even by 1cm🙄.) The shopping mall has 3 exits, one that leads into the local bus garage & train station, one that leads you into the car park and the other leads you onto the high street where there are more shops, and food places. It's a generally handy place to have local to you but could do with some updating but for people not from the area when they see it they just compare it to places like Brent Cross and automatically review it negatively, what you need to keep in mind is it's not meant to be a big fancy shopping centre but a small shopping mall handy for Edgware locals & residents or anyone passing by wanting to grab...
Read moreUnfair charging for parking for a disabled person, refusal of consideration for Equality Act. It costs nothing for Broadwalk to cancel parking charges and keep their customers happy but instead they'd rather lose customers. Broadwalk general manager Angela Brooks has shown how little care they have for their customers. Won't be shopping their again and wouldn't advise others to either I can see this review is receiving plenty of views, so here's an update. The Broadwalk continue to respond illegally, evading their statutory duties. For others to note The Broadwalk has joint liability for disability discrimination along with their elected agent UKPC.
They have a statutory duty to make reasonable adjustments to their policies. Which includes telling their agents to cancel unjust parking charges. Should they choose to evade this continually I will have no choice but to file a...
Read moreDisgusting, dangerous place to shop. Dirty, smelly, too many people loitering to the point you cannot move. Intimidating groups of men loitering, pick pockets and robberies reported daily. Car break ins in the car park daily. Lack of useful shops. Too many hounding canvassers. I would go anywhere else to shop. One upside is they are rennovating the toilets which were in such a bad state before that you could easily contract an STI from using them! Poo smudges on the walls, pee on the floor blocked loos. Hopefully the toilets being rennovated is the start of more positive changes. The new entrance was literally like sprinkling glitter on s*@t!! Did nothing to change the fact its...
