My name is Joyce. My room was 311. I and my coworker Zippy stayed there together with our guests from 23rd to 30th October. I would have given a 5 star but one of your staff Maria made it unpleasant. I have to say the days she was off, it was peace on earth. Your staff were happy and glad that they wont see her for afew days. Her attitude towards customers and fellow staff is outrageous. No professionalism and respect towards people. No mannerism at all. So why is she in this industry if one can't have people's skills. There is a way to talk especially infront of people. My guests were upset with Maria and it was a huge relief the days she was off.
We normally use premier inn twice a year. I would like to thank staff who work in premier inn Edgware for their dedication and service towards customers. Kulsom the hotel manager who was very professional in dealing with afew complaints we had and ensured our guests were catered for. I was impressed that you came to apologise to our guests due to afew hicups. Additionally just to see you on the floor with other staff was very encouraging. A true leader is a servant and you did that very well. You led by example. Siraj thank you so much for going over and above especially on 27th of October as we were late going to central London. Thank you for the initiative to offer breakfast or packed breakfast as this particular guest was leaving very early on 30th. Thou he didnt get the chance to have it, your service and proactiveness impressed that guest.
Raafy anything I needed or had questions you were there, Lucas the Gen -z lad, your maturity at this young age speaks volumes. My colleague was very impressed and wants to help you get an attachment in accounting career. Arkam thank you so much. Bonnie if am not wrong on name the Chinese staff. Thank you for your service. You have all been kind. I know it's not easy dealing with customers but ur aptitude and attitude was remarkable.

Read moreWe are 4 adults and booked 2 rooms, one being a family room for an extra child. The pictures on their website showed that the family room was spacious and large enough to accommodate a family, and we knew this from our previous stay as well, therefore we booked the family room AT AN EXTRA CHARGE. We inspected both rooms ourselves and realised the rooms were both the same size and they did not resemble the ones in the pictures online!! The reception and their online information failed to mention that they only have 3 family rooms in the entire hotel and instead they advertise family rooms at a higher price for a regular sized room without any acknowledgment of this scam. When we confronted the receptionist regarding the size discrepancy, he started saying that all the rooms were technically family rooms and they only add an extra sofa bed. When we informed him that we knew the family room was bigger than the rooms we were given, he then said the family rooms needed to be requested upon booking, even though AT AN EXTRA CHARGE we booked a family room per our confirmation receipt. The extra money spent was for nothing!!! Such a SCAM!
To make matters worse, the hotel is very dirty and is questionable regarding its cleanliness. The towels are STAINED and DIRTY and the faucet is leaking. See pictures below. ADDITIONALLY, the free wifi service provided is so slow, it takes a few minutes to load up the google homepage, it looks like this was done intentionally because they have “an ultimate wifi” service for visitors who are willing to pay for REASONABLE internet connection (£6 for 24 hours)
The standards of this hotel have dropped since we stayed here last in 2016. NEVER staying here again. The worst mistake of my life was booking with premier inn!

Her coworkers and the hotel itself have been wonderful, and one of the cleanest hotels I would say it is great and one of the better ones. Not completely modern or updated but alright for the cost. It is conveniently located to shops and transportation. 💯 Absolutely, we have had some of the worst experiences with Maria whilst staying at Premier Inn branches as my business, family and I are frequent customers. Maria has proven time and again to be a poor communicator and assumes what you are saying, cutting you off before you can even complete a sentence or request. Knocks on door before 7am waking my kids and myself up to talk down to me and be confrontational. She has a bad habit of claiming company policy on anything I have asked, she answers no and cuts you off immediately before questions are understood or completely asked. Aside of Maria creating turmoil on any simple task daily, this hotel would be great place to stay for longer term trips, and the other staff as I said are more than willing to give attention and service to minor needs like new sheets/ towel or room change requests. MARIA on the other hand refuses to do anything of the sort, is a stick in the mud and needs to be trained on simple things like checking someone into another room, taking contact less payments in increments, removing sheets and towels, room service cleaning requests for stay overs, the list could go on with things she simply wouldn't do for us. Her co worker was more then willing to do all of the above, and made it clear he doesn't know why she behaves so rudely and claims things can't be done. Apparently Maria makes up the rules as she sees fit. This SIMPLY is not ok. Obviously, she is not a good representation on how , Premier Inn customer service from my experience conducts business.
