Titania's Garden — Local services in London

I am a local in Marylebone and have been buying flowers and plants from this shop for several years (including my Christmas trees for the past 4 years). I went in to buy my Christmas tree again today just before closing time because I had a busy day and that was the soonest I could make it [having called earlier specifically to enquire if coming in just before 7 would be ok]. The guy (I think he might be the owner) proceeded to shout at me!!! He got so indignant and went on a tirade about how he'd been in since 7AM and that I can't show up 5 minutes before and expect him to help me. I was shocked to be shouted at, but said fine - I'll take my money elsewhere, yet he continued to shout as I walked down the street. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you can't help me then don't tell me on the phone that you are open until 7, and at the very least don't shout at me when you are too lazy to take my money!! You've lost a loyal...

It’s a very odd situation - the owners / staff don’t seem to want to make your money. They are very unkind - for example, one occasion where I was looking to get a bouquet for a friend, they just waived me off and told me to look at the pre-made ones; it’s not like my budget was low - I didn’t understand why they wouldn’t offer to put together a custom bouquet for me for my occasion. Another example is when I asked about their Christmas tree bases - they were incredible rude on the phone and did not want to sell me a Christmas tree base even when I offered to pay more money to buy it apart from a tree. It’s a real shame and I cannot grok these 5 star reviews - though it seems like the lower star ratings here reflect my experience also. Titania’s Garden is the florist I have been a big fan of for about 12 years now! My husband bought a beautiful large white orchid for me all that time ago while we lived in Marylebone. It is still alive today and flourishing! Even after we moved to Buckinghamshire I still come to this shop for all my special flowers. They have a fantastic range of very high quality flowers, house and garden plants. Always beautifully arranged and presented. Their christmas decorations and reefs are second to none! Many times I came to them in a hurry or desperation, in need of a good flower arrangement, or a decorated mini christmas tree, or a fantastic orchid or 28 individually wrapped small flower arrangements! Every single time they exceeded my expectations both in quality and helpfulness. For me, this is the best flower...
