Deja Vu Garden — Restaurant in London

I believe everyone deserves a second chance, therefore I gave this restaurant 3 chances. Every time I came there with my girlfriend.

1st time: we both ordered pork grilled dishes. They came 20 minutes apart. My pork shish came nearly cold. The plates where chipped and my girlfriend’s glass extremely dirty. When I wanted to pay, the waiter advised me to go to the post office to take cash as their card machine doesn’t work, not having any signs displayed nor letting us know before ordering.

2nd time. I ordered a pork dish and my girlfriend a pasta dish. My girlfriend’s dish came first. My dish arrived just after my girlfriend finished her one. Had to pay cash as the card machine still not worked. Paid by the till as the waiter didn’t bother to check on us.

3rd time Went to the restaurant, no one welcomed us (as usual) or at least saying “hi”. A waitress came with the menu. We said hello. She didn’t reply at all. We ordered the drinks first. When she came back with them she, out of a sudden, took our menus away. We had to wait for approx. 10 mins to get noticed by her so we can order food. We said what we want and she said only “ok”... Without menus we had to order what we remembered we had last time. The pasta came again first and my pork dish only 5 mins apart this time. Despite my girlfriend ordered the same pasta dish as previously, this time it came totally different: the chief missed to add cream cheese and parmesan... My plate was again chipped. At some point they closed the roof making the back terrace an enclosed space but they still allowed people to smoke inside. Again I had to go to the till to pay ... cash.

As a conclusion I would strongly not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to experience the worst customer service you can ever encounter. And by the way I have been to a vast range of restaurants in my life from an ordinary chicken shop to Gordon Ramsay.

To top this up, after reading all the reviews of this place, the owners approach to customers perfectly reflect their staff attitude. They are in denial and do not know how to...

I took my mum, my 1 year old daughter and my sister out to eat for the first time here and ordered a mixed platter for £35. After eating a few chips and 2 lamb ribs (which i was also feeding my daughter!!!), we bit into the wings and saw this. RAW uncooked meat. We all felt sick and reported it to the manager who said this is normal! She said she could re make the chicken wings which we refused as we did not want to eat anymore as we lost our appetite!! She then said shed take £10 off our bill which should have come up to a total of £25. She then brang us the bill, which we read and it said £98!!!!!!!!! I told her this is wrong as we only ordered a 2-3 person mixed platter and she said it was a mistake. I then said i do not want to pay for food we did not eat! We had 80% of our food remaining which was left untouched due to being put off by the raw meat. She then said we had to pay as we ate the chips and rice. I was shocked. I then walked over to the family next to me and showed them these photos and asked them if they would eat this or pay for it if this was the food they received. They were disgusted and said no. I then walked over to the manager and showed her the same photos and said “if you are genuinely happy with the way your food was cooked today then you should have no problem for me to post these photos on your google reviews”. She then stormed out and her male worker shouted something in his language to my family and signalled for us to leave. I asked him if his manager was returning and he said yes. I said i will wait to resolve this. She then returned after a few minutes later and told me and my mum and my sister to leave. We received no apology for this. My mum then started throwing up next to the bin opposite the restaurant. Shame on you. I am not ashamed of posting these photos as it is a health and safety issue!!! We were left felling unwell and extremely upset by the service...

Nice place where to stay chill, is not the best place to stay with kids but is nice to get a drink with friends. I’ll put just 2 stars cause I remember once I ordered two dishes with my partner mine was chicken with mushrooms and sauce which it was very nice, but we decided to eat there cause he read a dishes he likes,when we were looking to order they didn’t have it, he said he wants the dishes from a picture in the menu... when it arrived was same meat but completely different potatoes he asked why and she just answered we don’t have the others, we told her she should advice first cause he likes that chips that’s why he choose it. When we been to pay we complain about what happen and the guy didn’t know any English we try to explain him what it was wrong cause honestly the bill was high for the mistakes and to don’t be happy at all with the service,so basically we complain to the wall cause he didn’t understand English (we didn’t want to take longer asking to someone else cause we was with our baby) I’ll...
