We thoroughly enjoyed Yuki's vegan ramen cooking class. The format over Zoom works really well (especially as Yuki has multiple cameras to show close-ups of things if need be) and the pace of the class was perfect. We had the opportunity to learn lots about Japanese cooking and ask lots of questions whilst making this delicious meal. Yuki provides very clear guidelines for ingredients and prep before the class too and always answered my query emails super quick. I've always wanted to make ramen but have been daunted by unfamiliar ingredients and ensuring it is vegan. This was the perfect way to learn and make ramen accessible - I would highly recommend it!

A great experience - the chef is a very friendly person, making the atmosphere relaxed yet educational and tasty. I personally did not learn way lot during the gourmet sushi and sashimi master class but there were a few things I knew about and was budget to start doing at home. All the cooking process was transparent and the chef did not try to hide any secrets. The quality of products and fish was great. I also appreciated that aside from the masterclass it was a great culinary experience and we had a lot of tasty food to try. I definitely recommend this school to sushi lovers, especially if you haven’t booked sushi at home yet

I went to the Sushi making class run by Yuki as a birthday gift and it was excellent. Yuki has a fantastic way of teaching the class which was fun and welcoming, delivered from her beautiful home. The 2 hour session was full of helpful tips and tricks and the hands-on approach resulted in a huge plate full of various Maki roll's which I ate at the end with a glass of wine. It's rewarding to learn and make at the same time, especially with food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yuki's Kitchen to anyone who is interested in learning more about Japanese food, cooking and culture – it was brilliant.

Myself and my girlfriend signed up for Yuki's miso making class in February. This was the first cooking class that either of us had ever been to so naturally we were a little anxious over what we might be expected to do or know - these thoughts were instantly banished once we arrived and I can safely say this is suitable for all cooking abilities. Yuki was a very warm and welcoming host (served us some amazing Japanese barley tea) and gave the group (8 in total) some choices over how the class would be structured. The central part of the lesson was making miso paste, which we were taken through step-by-step, with each part explained well and plenty of hands-on preparation for all the group. We also learnt about different types of miso paste (including taste tests!), the concept of umami, how to make shio koji, finished off with a hoto noodle soup prepared by Yuki for us all to tuck in to. Yuki is a really enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher, happy to take any sort of question, which makes it a great learning experience. This all created a really nice and relaxed atmosphere in her kitchen, with everyone freely conversing...

In 2021 I've attended about 7 of Yuki's online classes and I have loved everyone. I was over the moon when I was recently given a 3 class pass as a gift and I can't wait to book more classes. What I love about them is; Yuki is so welcoming and I feel at ease as soon as I join Even when the classes have a lot of people Yuki has always time to answer questions and provide assistance to whoever asks. She takes so much care of us all. She has totally demystified Japanese cooking and it all now seems so accessible The dishes are amazing! I've made everything I've learnt from her after class and they are now in my usual repertoire of dishes. Today I had vegan ramen, delicious! Each dish feels really special but yet is easy to make, and I can now make meals at home that I would previously have had to go to a restaurant to eat Yuki has created each recipe with a handout and these are so easy to follow after the class I sometimes meet my geographically distant family in the classes and we cook together and then share a meal together

I don't live in London but next time I travel for a visit I'm going to go to an in...

I have attended four online cook alongs with Yuki in the past few months. For each a comprehensive ingredient list with vegetarian and meat alternatives has been sent out well in advance. Any up front prep that is required before the class is also outlined. However, if anyone has not been able to do the prep, Yuki has also been able to offer a short cut alternative once we start. Her classes are fun, informative and whizz along. While we move swiftly she always has time to answer questions, offer insights into the ingredients and sourcing and interacts with the participants along the way. The dishes we have produced have been incredibly tasty and I am amazed that with her help I have produced sushi at home with none of the wrestling with ingredients that I expected! So I can now add several types of sushi, ramen and a hoto miso noodle soup to my repertoire and look forward to learning more about the amazing Japanese cuisine from Yuki in the...
