💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 It’s said to be a famous specialty from Yuen Long in Hong Kong, and indeed it lived up to its reputation! The portion was enough for two bowls of rice, served with seven pieces of crispy roast pork, four pieces of roast duck, plus ginger and spring onions sauce – all for just £10! The roast pork skin was fragrant and crispy without being greasy, though a bit on the fatty side. The roast duck, on the other hand, was mostly bone, so there wasn’t much meat to enjoy, though the flavor was decent. Overall, it felt just like getting a roast meat rice box from a neighborhood shop in Hong Kong. Worth a try if you live near Manchester, but for me, once is enough.
