Shelves are a little emptier than usual, and prices are obviously higher on many items. Not Aldi's fault of course.
But service at the tills is still like a game of Russian roulette. Just after you have manoeuvred your trolley to the belt, they announce that the till is closed and you must go somewhere else.
Then, if you hear the announcement that till no. 2 is opening, then stay where you are, because it could be at least 5 minutes before the assistant leaves their job on the shelves (and blocking the aisles with the pallet containing empty boxes), before they reach the now long queue at till no. 2. Inevitably, to add to the confusion and the delay, you'll hear the announcement several times that till no. 6 is opening, then closing. Then opening and closing again. Read moreI gave been in here three times this week, twice I was overcharged and had to ask for a refund and today was a nightmare. The cashier had obviously made a mistake, which I understand happens but after ringing 4 times for the manager who came moaning about how many times she was called, then proceeded to try and sort two cashiers problems out, without apologizing to customers who were waiting in the queue to pay...sorry she obviously hadn't a clue what she was doing and looked about 15, as if she had just left school..but perhaps manners should of been more important than insulting the cashier and customers...

I got to a check out and the guy told me he was closed but then started allowing his friends to come and get served before he left so I had to wait another 20mins.
The place is unprofessional, lazy rude staff. Only One person on the till for the entire shop as well.
