Kokoro Milton Keynes 2 — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

I recently ordered a takeaway from your shop — specifically, the Korean-style pork. At first glance (and bite), it seemed like a promising choice: flavourful, well-seasoned, and piping hot. I took it home, enjoyed it in good spirits, and thought I was in for a pleasant evening.

How wrong I was.

Not long after finishing the meal, I began to feel an odd rumble in my stomach — the kind that says, “Brace yourself.” Within the hour, I found myself making repeated trips to the bathroom, each one more urgent than the last. Let’s just say the pork didn’t sit quietly. In fact, it seemed determined to make a dramatic exit.

The whole ordeal left me feeling absolutely dreadful. I was out of sorts for nearly half the day, drained of energy and questioning all my life choices — particularly the one involving Korean pork. I don't usually write complaints, but after spending more time on the loo than on the sofa, I felt this deserved a mention.

While I understand that these things can happen from time to time, I do feel it’s important to raise concerns about proper food handling and hygiene. It's possible the pork may not have been stored at the correct temperature, or that it wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Cross-contamination during preparation is another potential issue. As a customer, I trust that food is prepared safely and to proper standards — and this experience has shaken that confidence a little.

I’d appreciate it if you could investigate this matter seriously. Not just for me, but for the wellbeing of your future customers — no one should need to schedule their afternoon around a toilet...

I am a big fan Kokoro and i am buying often from them, but most of the times from the one that is situated in Intu CMK Centre I have bought few times from the Kingston Milton Keynes, and today i went there and i was very dissapointed, the food was old, dry even my kids said that the noodles were too dry. The sweet chilly chicken usually when we buying it come with lots of sauce that even the noodles start the get soaked up with the sauce, this time was everything so dry, it didnt look fresh cooked to me and the reason i am highlight this things its to aware the owner of the restaurant to make a change regarding this .. i also told them in the shop this matter I will still be a fan of it, but i will buy from now on only from the other restaurant, definitely not from this, or not until will do...

If you want to queue up for barely warm food and have limited choice about what you can order then this is the place for you. They'll allow you to stand there for huge lengths of time whilst they prioritise deliveroo orders and then fob you off saying numerous things aren't available. When you get your food you may get lucky and have a good meal, but it'll be warm for a few minutes before tough and chewy. But... remember, Deliveroo comes first, screw the queue of 20 people waiting, don't tell them what's available etc...wait for them to get to the front, then tell them it's all going in the green bikers bag.
