We bought a delicious pork bap and a baguette from Oh Crumbs, close to the bridge & sat by the bridge watching the swans & geese while we ate. Lovely place to sit and relax, and it was a real sun trap. Occasionally, a broads boat would cruise past adding to the relaxing atmosphere. This is not far from Roy's of Wroxham, which sell just about everything. Prices in some of the ice cream and fish & chips shops were extortionate, but then it is a tourist hot spot, so it's understandable. Vehicles travelling over the bridge generally go slow, so we didn't find it noisy. The only reason I dropped a star is because of the prices, £6.50 for an ice cream cone is too much. A family of 4 can't be expected to spend £26 on ice cream cones 🤔. That said, this place is definitely worth a visit. Just check the prices as some are better than others. Just a note; this place is remarkably wheelchair accessible. 👍 Be cautious driving over the bridge as sometimes articulated lorries are travelling in the opposite direction, and there has to be a certain amount of giving way. We were in a motorhome, and we stopped to let the lorry through, allowing him more space.

Went here for the first time to buy a boat what a lovely place been again another 2 times, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to eat in if a little expensive, plenty of boats to hire for the day

Published a review two days ago seems to have disappeared 🤷🏻‍♂.

We got asked twice to order our drinks and waited over 30 minutes for them.

Two over stretched members of staff trying to cope cleaning tables taking orders and serving food.

While one hugs the coffee machine even when it's not in use maybe a little team building is required.

From sitting down to taking our drinks order and receiving our food order it took 45 minutes for the food too arrive.

We asked a waiter could we order food * i'll need to go and ask. A few minutes later a different waiter took our order, why ?

My wife ordered Ham and tomato she received ham and cheese.

I ordered a ham and cheese melt which was...

Historic road bridge, built in 1619, leading into the main shopping area of Hoveton. There's a modern pedestrian bridge right next to it and running parallel to it. Both bridges very busy and the pedestrian bridge vibrated under my feet when I walked on it! Very pleasant views of the marina, River Bure and boats constantly passing underneath. Lots of swans flock here. Plenty of cafes and riverside...
