Awful. The service was horrible, the lady serving us was blunt and rude. AFTER ordering and opening our drinks I was asked for id, I’m of age but forgot my id so I wasn’t served (understandable) however it was the way in which I was asked, the owner decided to state “your not of age are you” and then took away my drink, without even asking for my id. After finally getting our right drinks, and after our order was wrong several times we sat down (how hard is it to make a shandy?) after finishing half of our drinks we decided to take a walk, we asked a waitress for a takeaway cup and she said yes no problem! However, the owner then took it upon himself to come to our table and tell us that in fact no, we could not have takeaway cups because our drinks were open. Never ever heard of this and was strange since they opened our drinks. Horrible service, everyone was rude and the owner seemed biased as to who he felt like providing the proper service to. This place is a hidden gem. It is right on the river with a lovely scenic view. It is almost hidden away behind a few fish and chip shops but is definitely worth seeking out.

The food is very good quality, I had a classic cheese and bacon burger which comes in a fresh brioche bun. The burger was cooked well (still moist) the cheese had good flavour and the bacon was lovely and also full of flavour there is only one way to describe the burger "intensely meaty" it is absolutely fantastic. My wife had the chicken wrap which has a generous filling, the fries are crispy outside and fluffy inside, lots of coleslaw and side salad.

Had food here today just before we travelled back to Essex. It was recommended to us so we thought we would give it a try. They were so accommodating and the outside seating area looking down on the harbour was unreal. The food was super good. Was expecting a big bill at the end bearing in mind only I finished brunch as there was so much. £50 for 5 of us. I thought it must be a mistake, it wasn't. Also Betty who served us was so helpful and waited on the table so well. She went above and beyond. My only regret is that I was so rushed and chasing the kids down to feed the ducks and swans I never tipped her. We'll be back to wroxham very soon as we were camping 1 mile up the road and I'll double tip then betty. Thanks guys for finishing the holiday off so well....
