The best Pad Thai I've had ... and I have had Pad Thai in Thailand in several places. I also ordered vegetarian spring rolls (made in house) - delicious! Not greasy and tough, crispy and fab! A true gem that we accidentally discovered on the way back home to Cambridge, from Norfolk coast. So, although quite a distance, we will 100% return! Restaurant looked inviting from the outside and inside was very clean (including toilets - SPOTLESS!) and had a good vibe. Food is cooked by Thai ladies (a strong team of 4 or 5 from what I could count) and they know what they are doing. Amazing. Everything was fresh, hot and had the right balance of flavours. What I liked in particular that there were 3 little plastic bags packed with my dish: a wedge of lemon in one, chopped cashews in the second and chilli flakes in third. What a great idea! One can, therefore, season it the way one wants. I can't praise this place enough....

We are on the broads and on our walk I found this little Gem - unfortunately they didn’t allow dogs inside ( which isn’t an issue as he had already had a great day out in the pubs ) my favourite food is Thai so after seeing the inside we decided to phone up later and get an delivery once we got back to our boat. Later on we phoned but we changed our mind and decided to collect our food as we felt it been silly to get them to bring it to us as it was a five minute walk from were we was parked up. It was very much worth the wait, it was my favourite meal of our week. So bloody good the food and we order quite a few dishes, so satisfying on our stomachs. I cannot review this place enough - I eat Thai food at-least twice a week and this was exactly how it should be. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Very good prices too. Extremely clean place with an open...

I have a local Thai takeaway which is very good and the bar that family and I measure against.

This ThaiWay is a restaurant and perhaps a takeaway not sure.

Anyways, I thought the food was better, more tasty than my local.

We were lucky and got in, no reservation before a large group of 12+ came in.

Staff were friendly and for the most part attentive. Who we assumed was owner/boss not that engaging, but could see he was monitoring room and ensuring good service.

So, owner took order, not sure if we'd get what ordered but did.

Shared a platter for starters. Very nice!

Can't recall name i had a garlic based duck stir fry. And jasmine rice delicious. Tried source on own, blew head off ! But with duck veg on rice was delicious.

Mate had a pork noodle dish , also delicious.

A few Asian larger, no pudding.

Around £33 a...

My first time visiting ThaiWay, visited with my parents who are regulars - Warm and smiling welcome from the staff, shown straight to our table. Restaurant is bright and airy with an open kitchen where you can glimpse the food being prepared. We opted for a mixed starter with an additional plate of "Pot of Gold" (a delicious house recipe similar to crispy wontons but with a different filling), which I would highly recommend!! For mains, I ordered a Jungle Curry (again very tasty) and Weeping Tiger (steak served sizzling) also very tasty. Had some lemon sorbet for dessert, which was the perfect palate cleanser - Service was fast and friendly. I look forward to visiting again!

The only downside to the thaiway is trying to book a table. We visited last year and couldn't get a table ,& it was a 2 hour wait for a takeaway. To counteract that this year I thought I'd book well in advance. 9 phone calls over 10 days and all were cut off and a generic message of "we're too busy to take your call at the minute" was sent. In the end we called in at lunch time today and were able to book a table at 18.30. The service and food were of a very high standard. Nice surroundings and prompt service. All in a reasonable price. The end product was a very enjoyable experience.

What a gem. What a great addition to Hoveton. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is well presented and very authentic. They even ask how spicy you like it. As someone who has been to Thailand many times, the food here brings back many fond memories, the taste, the aromas. Definitely 10/10.
