Curry House — Local services in Nottingham

We decided to try a meal on the opening night as we live pretty close. I phoned the order thru and collected in about 25 mins. I had a chicken madras and my girlfriend had naga chicken. As it was the opening night, we were given a complimentary starter and poppadoms with dips. Everything was really good quality; tasty, well cooked and nice friendly service, and plentiful too! We will definitely be back, maybe try some other dishes? We would both say that the spicy hotness could have been turned up a bit; but I’m sure if we request this then it could be done next time. Absolutely phenomenal food the honey chicken was different but nice the chicken in the korma was tender the chips are like french fries but honestly not fussed still good chips the poppadoms were absolutely delicious I have eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants/Take aways as well as worked in one and I must say there poppadoms are the best I have tried. Pakora I never tried them so to get them free and give me something to try that was new was a bonus they're as well nice can't go wrong with anything free. The standard of the food was acceptable. I have had much better and worse. My only complaint would be the Tandoori Mixed grill at £14.50 which consisted of 6 small pieces of tikka meat - a small kofta and a portion of chicken leg plus 1 prawn and some onions. I have had tandoori mixed grills from other takeaways and usually a mixed grill is more than double this amount of food for less money. FFS a tandoori chicken is about £9 in this place and I would have gone for that if I had known a mixed grill was going to be such a small amount of food for the money. Sorry guys I won't be...
