We ordered a kebab on a Friday night we had been looking forward to it because we hadn’t ordered from Taj for a good few years. But in the past the quality of food had always been so good. However unfortunately it seems that the food has gone down hill since we last ordered. The kebabs came and the doner meat was like think leather it didn’t taste good and had been shaved very thickly! The chicken was dry and it had a cinnamon taste which we did not like at all! In the past they used to put tandori on the chicken and that used to be lovely! This was the most disappointing food experience we have ever had. We then proceeded to call the restaurant and I asked the man to come and collect the food back because we wanted a refund. He promised he would refund us but said he didn’t need to collect the food. The man blatantly lied to me as we never received a refund after calling three times after the incident. I think it’s really bad that they didn’t refund us! We didn’t east the good and instead just went to a chip shop on foot which was annoying as we just wanted to have a chilled night in. Poor food I can accept but poor attitude towards customers is not what I expected! Safe to say we will never deal with this...

Where do I start. Placed order 07/02/2024 and the driver struggles to find address even though it’s clear and easy to find. Order plain donner meat and chips. Was told it was ok. Chicken tikka kebab and chips with lettuce and tomatoes. They then added onions which I can not eat. I rang to complain and they hung up on me when I asked when the would get a refund. I rang back they answered and phone left on the side. I went in to get refund today 08/02/2024 and the “manager” said he heard from his staff that I would be in. After our discussion he admitted he was the rude one that hung up on me and then tried to bribe me with free food. I will never use them again they have gone downhill in their standards, being lied to and treated so badly it’s a wonder they have any customers. A lot of 1 star reviews recently shows how bad they are. I advise all to avoid and I will be contacting health department over the state...

This was by far the worst take away I have ever eaten. I ordered a vegetable danhsak and a chicken korma. The Danhsak was unedable, it was watery and wasn't a tomatoe based curry it tasted like a cheap curry sauce you get from fish and chip shop. Defiantly had a mixed frozen vegetable bag mixed into it. Not a danhsak. The korma was pink, with very little flavour definatly not a flavor resembling a chicken korma, it also looked curdled like gone off milk or something. The garlic nan smelt and tasted like raw garlic, disgusting. If your looking for an expensive and terrible meal here is your place to eat. I will be calling the restaurant and asking for a refund.
