Just popped down to get some fresh vegetable for a sick member of family with auto-immune disease who can only eat organic and fresh. I asked (with foreign accent) where the veg came from to be sure it was local. The owner replied "It's from Covent Garden. Have you heard of that place?" in a very sarcastic manner. At the moment the main road passing the shop is closed at one end by the bridge meaning there's less passing traffic which is such a shame for the owners of this tremendous grocers. You can still get to the shop fine from the Botley direction so I highly recommend you drop in. Quality of fruit & veg is far superior to that you find in supermarkets.
