Yummy Chinese Takeaway — Local services in Oxford

From my experience, they should rename this place 'Yucky'. I've been here 4 times in total and I'm not sure why I've given it so many chances... The first 2 times were average, the last 2 times were terrible. We ordered a kung po chicken & a chilli pork, when the dishes came out they were both literally the exact same sauce and same veg. Firstly, kung po and chilli sauce aren't the same thing. But that didn't even matter because we got neither. The sauce was actually just a sweet and sour sauce (probably to rip off people who don't know what a real kung po & chilli sauce taste like). The pork was so dry and chewy because it had been cut into strands and deep fried, totally disgusting and bland, which is probably why they had to drown it in that overly sweet, gloopy sauce. On another occasion, we ordered the seasonal vegetables in oyster sauce. When that dish came out it was just a load of Chinese cabbage chunks in a watery soy sauce broth. When we brought this up with the front-of-house lady, she just said 'that's the way it is'. Tasteless dish and a total rip off for the money we paid. The sad thing is, some of the pictures on here actually look appetising, but what's the point of going to a restaurant where only certain items might be good? I haven't come across one of these dishes yet and probably never will because I'm not going to come back, 4 chances is enough. What's the point when Cafe Orient on Cowley Road is x100 better than this place? Go...

The food is so delicious!!

Bought some takeaway from them yesterday .. & the food was one of the best Chinese/Thai food I've had in Oxford .. The food also seemed fresh comparing to the typical freeze in freeze out process of cooking .. The girl who served was extremely helpful in terms of telling how the spices are in the product.

The price is reasonable. I totally recommend this place .. And I will be ordering in future! :)

P.s If you order regularly from them you can get stamps and after 8-10 (not sure) you ordered you get £10 worth of free food for the...

Good food like always, today had a bad experience this takeaway. Put a specific time for food to be delivered due to being a bday had plans and was informed by the rude person on the phone that it was an Uber issue when the order came through at 15:30pm stating a time when we want a delivered. Was a £130+ order too, for them to offer money from the delivery as it was late back nor any apologies I will say I will not say use delivery from this again. I do not want to give business who can not do a simple order to time and blame others when the mistake is...
