I canāt rate this place quick enough or fast enough, everybody needs to get down to The Spud Father (just please not on the days I go as I donāt want to queue or get there & theyāre sold out!) Itās officially taken 47 years but Iāve just eaten the best Jacket Spud Iāve ever hadā¦so letās build an image, letās start with a serving box, a jacket potato being cut into pieces & then smothered in garlic butter, salt & cracked pepper - trust me you are NOT gonna find any pieces of dry, unseasoned potato in this pot, then throw on the cheese, weāre talking enough cheese to give you an incredible cheese pull!!! We then went on with the most amazing, homemade chilli & crispy onionsā¦.deliciousness in a box. Now the problems began, we had to drive from Goldsmith Ave to Farlington Marshes (we needed somewhere scenic enough to enjoy this delicacy & we live in Chichester so on the way home) now I was hungry, but not just hungry, I also had 2 jacket spuds on my lap acting like a heated blanket but I also couldnāt open the window incase the precious cargo got cold!
