Efes Kebab — Local services in Portsmouth

Been coming here for years even moved 30 minutes away and still travelled down to have it. Until recently when they started messing up orders. My partner ordered lamb doner meat and chips with lettuce. Meat was old and grey lettuce was brown like it had been sat for a while. He wrote a bad review and the manager offered to replace the food. When ordering said replacement my order was messed up. I ordered burger cheesy chips and garlic sauce. Drove home and received my burger with small chips and no sauce. Phoned them and they offered to replace it. Tonight I order and I get a lamb doner kebab which normally is really enjoyable but when I opened the box it was all small fatty bits of meat that looked like it was scraps. No nice long thin bits of meat like usual. Phoned them and the man on the phone was rude to me. Told me “if I want to come see how they cut the meat then I can come to the shop” and “he can’t give special cuts to customers” I never asked for special cuts. Been a loyal customer at this place for many years but tonight was extremely disappointing. I phoned up after receiving my order to complain about the food. It arrived stone cold and the beef burgers were basically ‘ solid ‘ where they had been clearly over cooked and were beyond the point of being edible. (£35) order so not cheap. After explaining myself the phone was then passed to another man who became very defensive and argumentative down the phone and kept interrupting me saying that there was nothing wrong with food. There was no reasoning with this man and he made us feel like we were lying. Poor customer service ! All we asked for was for the food to be prepared to a satisfactory standard and delivered hot. After about 5 mins of him ranting down the phone at me , He eventually and reluctantly agreed to send the items we were dissatisfied with but not the whole order which they should’ve done. He told me his boss wouldn’t be happy ! Very uncomfortable and unnecessary experience when all they had to do to resolve the problem was send out a fresh order. This will be last order from efes for sure. Learn to value and treat your customers...

Me and my family Been ordering here for over 20 years. Yesterday I made an order which I requested chilli and Garlic sauce on my donner however received the food without any chilli sauce so when I called they said they will send me a new one. When the driver came he had a look at my food to see if I ate any and then got in his car and left without giving me the new kebab. I called to find out what happened and I had the ower telling me I ate half of my kebab (I didn’t even have a bite) and said he wouldn’t do anything else. The fact that me and my family have been loyal for years and the fact they had to check my food to give me another one should their loyalty towards the customers. They only care about money not customer. I rather go Sultans down the road and get a kebab for £5 compared for £9....
