A well hidden open space enclosed by woods on all the sides in the middle of residential area of Tilehurst. Thereā€™s access from all the sides via narrow entrances but not all the entrances display enough information about the hidden park. Also, thereā€™s no dedicated car park at any of the entrances. Visitors and dog walkers must park on the side streets much to the annoyance of local residents.

It would be far better if some of the entrances are widened to create a free parking space. Otherwise this hidden park shall remain just for those who live close and know the area to enjoy the woods...

This park is fantastic for dog walking as there is plenty of green space to give them a good run, but it is completely enclosed so it feels very secure. Lovely wooded section down one side and end. But the best bit are the views. In one direction I think you can see all of Reading from up there. In the other you could forget you are in...
