Sad state of affairs here. Poor drainage requires investment but none available I guess. Local authority runs this place (into the ground and eventually for sale?). Greens and fairways a mess. Cheery welcome from staff member squirreled away behind a barred window. Felt like I was paying to play golf in a war zone. Council can do better than this. Played the course today , clubhouse shut about 5pm no sign of any workers anywhere to take money , course is slowly declining as the park has also been dying for years - the council need to put some money and investment into this course or it will shut...
