Fab wee place took my nephew a few weeks ago who is 12 and he had a great time. There's not loads to do but at the same time as a great place to spend time. He had a great time on the train and looking around at the other trains,he's very much interested in things from back in the day so he absolutely loved his time there . There's also a wee cafe there too and.playground(although that was for younger children) Would defo recommend this The only slight negative thing I would say they had advertised driver for a fiver on their Facebook page, for adults or children and this didn't require booking otherwise I would of done so ,my nephew was super excited about driving a train ,so we get there and told that they're not allowing anyone else to do as they had a lot if people for it already ,this wasn't even later in the day it was in the Morning , really think they should of done some sort of bookings for this to avoid many people being disappointed like my nephew was

What a lovely job these guys done. The children and the adults loved it. Only £12.00 each and lasts about 26 minutes. The steam engine at 98years old takes a wee journey slowly for about a mile then back. We were lucky enough to be surprised by Santa Claus with a few small appreciated presents for the kids . Fantastic time. This is all run by volunteers and is worth every penny with all money going back into this project.

What a lovely friendly place to visit that, even though a train enthusiast, I didn't know about it! Given a really interesting impromptu tour by Jim. Easy to get to situated alongside the Levenmouth rail line, with the Running days on the last Sunday of the month and specials like an annual classic car rally. Will certainly be back for their "Driver for a fiver" 🚂

We attended the bus and rail weekend.

First thing I would say is the adverts are misleading, implying that it is 1 ticket for entire event. Not £6 for train & £2 for bus side. This caused some embarrassment and budget concerns for our family. We never seen the bouncy castle which was disappointing for the kids.

£6 each for a very short journey on a train is not good value for money and unrealistic for familys, considering it gave around 10 minutes entertainment.

However the bus event side of things was very good and all staff we encountered where very passionate and friendly.

Based on value which is important for familys I wouldn't...
