Sun House Chinese Takeaway — Local services in Sheffield

Had 2 really nice meals from here before. Ordered another tonight, was advised it would take a little longer than usual due to high demand, after 1 hour and 20 minutes my husband called to ask how much longer it would be, was advised that they are on their way.

Food turned up straight away, was cold and congealed, completely inedible.

Of course, we had already paid cash at the door.

Contacted them to be told we could have 25%off our next order.

This was obviously declined as we weren't going to frequent that establishment again.

My husband has requested a FULL refund and to take the inedible slop away.

He was informed that this would happen.

It has not. Therefore, I will be seeking advice from the small claims court as I have been sold something, NOT as advertised.

The evidence is currently in my kitchen.

First time using this Chinese. Won't be the last. The lady on the phone was friendly and helpful, I asked her about one of the dishes and about having an allergy. She told me the price of our meals and it would be ready in 10-15 minutes.

The food was really really nice quality and plenty of it. We both had prawn and chicken chow mein and sweet and spicy sauce and curry sauce. We needn't have bought the sauce as the chow main wasn't dry, like some other restaurants I have been to. But the sauces were delicious. We also got complimentary prawn crackers. We will definitely be going here...

Couldn't recommend enough. Lived in Sheffield for close to 5 years and only just found the perfect chinese! Gorgeous food, so fresh and rapid delivery. Really reasonable too. Can tell it's good quality as the next day it isn't congealed and still tastes lovely. Had crispy chilli beef, S+P chicken and chips and singapore chow mein and all the best of their kind in sheffield. Thanks a...
