Nice place to a walk or to walk the dog, with views over the River Wharfe and Tadcaster. It used to be a railways line route from York, through Tadcaster, to Leeds, but that closed many decades ago and it is now a public footpath. It's very picturesque during the Summer at ground level, with its high stone arches...
