On my first visit to Tadcaster I was looking for somewhere to grab a coffee and some breakfast and spotted Walkers Kitchen on the main road, so popped in. As you enter there's a small deli counter packed with delicious looking sweet and savoury snacks and an impressive takeaway menu. If like me you're wanting to dine in, then you want to head up the stairs to the cosy dining room which has been decorated with real attention to detail. The staff were warm and welcoming, taking my drink order as soon as I was shown to a table, and returning shortly after to take my food order. I decided on the full English and made a small change which was accommodated without hesitation. It arrived quickly, hot and was delicious! The breakfast was fantastic value, 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, hashbrown and tomatoes and toast (you can choose between beans or tomatoes, and the breakfast usually comes with mushrooms too). All of that and a large freshly ground coffee was ÂŁ8.95 and they accept Amex too which is a bonus! Will certainly be heading back soon!

This beautiful little cafĂ© on the High Street right by Tadcaster's famous brewery is very welcoming and everything is neet and tidy. This cafĂ© is a offers and good range of freshly ground Lavazza coffees, hot chocolate, tea and a range of cold drinks to suit all tastes. Some very appetising salads, burgers and loaded jackets with a small selection of vegan dishes both breakfasts, lunches sandwiches etc. Their extra special chorizo sausage rolls are a very tasty item but if you aren't quick they'll all be gone, popular as they are I barely needed make mention as they virtually sell themselves. A well deserved ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 10/10 Borderline Eleven 😎 🌞 👌 Photographs Are As Ever ©Paul (PĂČl) Ruddock Photography 2022.

Breakfast and to break the journey East. Called in on my way to York, always loved Tadcaster and on a sunny Sunday morning why wouldn’t you! A lovely little cafe, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and great food. A steady stream of customers for the takeaway and the sit down dining. I sat downstairs and watch the flow of content faces. A good breakfast menu from which I chose the vegetarian, “no sausage’s please” “what would you like instead” with a smile and no fuss, the breakfast was excellent, and look at that teapot! They care! A super start to the day.

Unable to leave another review so an update instead. 20 Sep 2025 - Another lovely lunchtime visit. We love your paninis, freshest of ingredients, hot and tasty with homemade slaw and salad. The most polite and courteous staff always. A rainy Saturday but a visit to our favourite cafe brightened our day. Thank you again, look forward to another visit soon. Highly recommend...

Walkers Kitchen has everything you could want in a local cafe. Fantastically placed on the high street and right opposite a car park, so whether driving, walking or cycling you’ll spot this little gem and want to make it a regular stop. The staff were very friendly, fab decor and the food was delicious. If you visit, I would highly recommend the Almighty Walkers breakfast if you’ve got a good appetite. But also the homemade sausage rolls are legendary. Not only does the cafe have a kids room, but pets are also welcome. Enquiring further, they will also provide buffets, so whether a corporate lunch, or a special occasion they’ll accommodate your dietary needs. Take my word for it, you’ve found the end of the rainbow 🌈 when you’ve been and will always be made welcome. Thank you Walkers Kitchen for a terrific...
