Lovely place. Pool was clean, life guards around the pool. Spilt areas for younger kids to be safe. Didn’t get an email confirmation but they had my booking details at the desk so wasn’t an issue. Staff were friendly and polite 👌🏾
Only downside is the changing rooms, they’re very out of date and don’t feel very clean. Defo wear flip flops/sliders to avoid potentially standing in anything unpleasant. If the changing rooms were upgraded it would be 5 stars 🤩
Lockers are free but need a £1 coin to retrieve the key and lock the door. Hairdryers are 20p but the weren’t very powerful so gave up after a couple of minutes.
Once you’ve enjoyed the pool, there’s a cafe servings drinks, ice cream and food. However, we opted for a picnic in the park. There are public toilets there too which is helpful.
10 hours parking is £4 cash or £4.40 via the RingGo app I decided on 10 hours (1, 2, 3, 4 hours or 10 hours options) due to wanting to enjoy the park afterwards. The park has a lot of choice and spans a huge area. You can fish, play tennis and so much more.
All in all a lovely way to enjoy the outdoors with family. We...
Read moreSuperb large lido set in a well-maintained park. Car park machines takes coins not cards: £2 for 2 hours. Water is heated and it's a mix of salt water (from Droitwich's natural springs) and chlorine (to keep the water clean and clear). Weirdly, swimmers need to do widths (18m) rather than lengths (32m to boom across shallow end) and there are no markings on the bottom of the pool to help you swim a straight line. The lido seems like it's more of a leisure pool but it's possible to have a fitness swim as well. There are indoor changing rooms, loos, showers etc (which are a bit tired but functional), with lockers with take a £1 coin (returnable). Friendly lifeguards and a buzzy café next door. The lido is more expensive than a regular pool (we paid £8 for a 2-hour swim slot on Saturday morning) which is possibly putting people off swimming - our swim session was almost empty from 10 til 11am. Highly recommended though, what a wonderful resource for Droitwich - and worth our 30 minute drive to get there....
Read moreBrilliant day out. We have arrived 25min before out slot opening. There was constant coming in and going out traffic so no problems with finding a parking space. It's 1£ for 1h, 2£ 2h, 3£ 3h and 4£ up to 10h. So not very expensive.
We had booking for 2h only with max capacity of 300 ppl and to my surprise it wasn't really overcrowded.
Inside there was lots of free space to set up ur mat and leave bags.
Toilets, changing rooms all fine, clean but wear slippers as floors are wet.
Water was a bit cold but once in the water ur body quickly adjust.
They have lockers with 1£ coin where you can put ur expensive belongings (phone, wallet etc).
Will definitely...
