Cafe Morso Droitwich — Restaurant in Wychavon

Went to this cafe on Sunday, initially got told we would be served at our table so we sat down, after sitting down for 15 minutes we decided to just order at the desk. After ordering our food, it took them around 5 minutes to bring our food out. The sausages came out barely cooked, soft as anything. Bread was soggy from absorbing the oil. The eggs were hard even when I asked for runny. Bacon was gorgeous.

Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. Why? Around food that we are eating. Hair malting everywhere near the kitchen? Food Hygiene Regulations 2013 require that they are not allowed where food is handled or prepared. Whilst having dogs in the cafe isn’t illegal, it is still unusual & made us uncomfortable to eat around.

The chef was also quite loud discussing with staff about drama & somethings that happened in the week. Swearing out loud in front of children & just being obnoxious. Took him 2 minutes to cook our food but stood there for 30 minutes talking bad on other people & saying nasty things about “rude customers” in front of everyone.

The two women that served us were lovely & made us feel very welcome.

A party of 3 for breakfast, we gave our order and were given cutlery wrapped around a paper serviette. The knives had finger marks on them which we duly wiped off. Then an examination of the forks revealed two out of three of them had the previous diners meal encrusted on them. I returned them, no apology just replacements. I had toast as part of my breakfast one slice had been nowhere near a toaster. I requested butter it didn't arrive, in fact the server who I spoke to left the premises 5 minutes later, obviously forgetting. The staff projected a couldn't care less attitude,with no obvious signs of a leader. Service was slow. I'm not one of them diners who wants to be fussed over and the staff were keen to oblige. Disappointing Drinks were served without ice or garnish of any kind despite it being a hot day My girlfriend had the chilli cheese fries which were so drenched in hot sauce they were rendered inedible When this was raised to the waitress they were quickly replaced, to her credit(this waitress then went home) come time to pay the bill my girlfriend was double charged for the replacement fries I raised this to the new waitress explaining that the first portion had been sent back uneaten and requested a refund She didn't apologize or offer to fix the bill leaving my girlfriend having paid £11 for about £1.50 worth of cheese and instant fries

This was a real shame as it is a great venue with good music and otherwise lovely...
