I have been going here for a little over two years. Prices were great. I had no problem with it. Well, they got a new owner. Her name is heather well, they had a price change so I went in when they opened up after the holidays this year of 2025 and just to get a wash blow dry and straighten cost me $25 which is absolutely ridiculous especially when I bring my own shampoo and conditioner and all my products, my hair is not that long or that thick and I pay $20 with my regular beautician thatâs been doing hair for 30 years which I know when she does it itâs gonna come out fantastic where if you go to the school, you donât know what itâs gonna come out looking like I just feel that $25 is absolutely ridiculous. Specially, when it used to be 15 which I find not fair.. Now I understand the five dollar up charge on the color Because color has gone up but some of their pricing if anybody goes, there needs to take a look at it. Some of it is absolutely ridiculous and I did leave a message with the owner and she never got back to me about it and also when you go to the school, they never have enough shampoo and conditioner. Thatâs why I even started bringing mine in the first place. itâs ridiculous and also if you go inside of the school, it needs a lot of remodeling. Those wash sinks have been there for over 30 years only 2 to 3 of them work when I went in there yesterday they had buckets underneath where water is just flowing out of them. The buckets were filled with water. It needs to be cleaned in there the ceilings if you look at all the fixtures and the filters they are filled with black dust. I donât know what it is, but that place needs to be cleaned. It needs to be remodeledand she wants to charge all this money. You need to fix your shop as well. UPDATE : nothing has been done. I donât think the owner cares about her business. Itâs still filthy and dirty. Nothingâs been cleaned or fixed Still have the same old wash sinks only a few work. The rest are broke and even the ones that do work have problems nothing has been fixed .. looks like the place is falling...
Read moreMy first time to visit and I fully understood the stylist/student would be inexperienced. (Everyone has to learn) I assumed there would be intermittent supervision and training by the instructor(s) and took a chance. The stylist/students technique was meticulous . She worked very hard, however the end result was not what she or I were expecting. The end result was a red/brassy tone and too many foils were sectioned off and it looks like one color vs a hi/low lights. I was told it was 3 pm and they were closing and I would have to come back. (I was practically pushed out the door with horrible colored hair) The instructor/manager came by ONE time to look at my hair during the 5 HOURS I was there. The rest of the time they were sitting or "visiting" with students. After 4 hours you would think they would recognize the student was struggling. The student shouldn't have to request help. Instructors should train and observe the students. When settling the bill, the instructor denied the hair had red / brassy tones. (argumentative) The student offered for me to return the next day so she could fix it...the instructor insisted it was fine when I was telling her otherwise . I question if closer supervision and instruction would have made a difference. Again, the stylist tried her best and I am appreciative of that (and hope she does well with her career )The instructors/management could definitely use some coaching. I won't be returning for a color correction (or ever). I'll go back to utilizing a professional service. I wasted $75...
Read moreI have been going here for years because I love Geneva and She absolutely controls those trainees and the floor; Unfortunately, sheâs not there this weekend and I called at 9:15 yesterday to be told they were completely booked for the day. Today I called at 10 oâclock and they didnât even answer the phone with any kind of greeting and and hung up in my face, then I immediately called back and she answered the phone hello like a valley girl, With attitude to match. When I asked if this was Texas College of cosmetology, she condescendingly said âyeahâ As if I were some kind of bother to her when I asked for a menâs haircut, and she said âFULL!â and slammed the phone down. The stylists are remarkable and Geneva is the Incredibly structured and disciplined leader, but that young lady that Answered the phone this morning should be thrown right out in the street. If Geneva isnât there, you can absolutely forget being treated with any kind of...
