We came in to the 2001 S 1st location after the lunch rush and there was still a decent line with only one employee on shift. Violet worked each order in the long line diligently and professionally, all while keeping a smile on her face and in good spirits despite the obvious air of stress. We were overtly grateful and thanked her many times in light of the stress she was likely under, but never seemed to show it. Many places are understaffed and some Subway locations are not staffed at all. As business owners, we understand the extra strain that puts on the remaining employees. She continued to work the line after us while we dined with courteous service despite less-than-patient customers. We informed her that we would be leaving a positive review and we left a tip. Read moreI have worked in food service over 30 years so I try not to complain or be petty because I understand mistakes happen. But this is just ridiculous!! This sandwich is completely DISGUSTING!! First of all I ordered online, it took my payment, which did show was deducted from my account, but upon pickup was told it didn't go through. Had to reorder and repay because the manager said it was "offline" so they didn't get the order and the payment would be reversed. If that wasn't bad enough the sandwich I ordered was cold and disgusting, and I am NOT going to eat this crap. Total waste of money and time!! I have worked for the owners of this store as management and know this isn't the quality of service they prefer. I guess the saying is true, you just can't find quality workers anymore. Read moreI’m not sure your hiring practices for Subway, but I don’t recall ever dealing with or seeing the worst customer service I witnessed today.
Not only was your employee Jordan seemingly in a bad mood, but seemed to display that through his service.
Last I checked subway didn’t have a policy in place that lets staff disrespect their customers. So when I heard “you should have told me to put the avocado on before the vegetables “ and act as if this is such a difficult task and display a bad attitude with it, what reason do I have to go back to your store.
As many times as I have been to this particular location I have not once felt that disrespected, so much so I was even put into a bad mood.
